Left this company a while back looking for growth and thinking the grass was greener on the other side and it wasn’t. Good benefits but job security is based the local clients needs or recruitment which is not always steady.

VOLT was a company consumed by bureaucracy that got in the way of actually doing business and making Money. They gave there sales people call goals that did not actually drive business they just consumed there time documenting in productive numbers so management could pass them up the chain to upper management that did not understand sales.They did not give the only recruiter in the office at a recruitment firm a sourcer. In 2018 they only had manger over recruiting, business development and on boarding manager that worked in the office for 5-6 months Cuprite tried to run the office but having mangers from different office in different cities and states drop i from time to time for the other part of the year. VOLT constantly hired people with out staffing industry knowledge. I was not surprised when they closed there only Denver office with 2 hours notice.

The job had a much larger scope of work than describe with less support and horible compensatoin.

They didn't give any training, you just sort of have to ask questions and learn as you go. If management could give more adequate training, their recruiters would feel more confident and prepared.

Micromanaging to the fullest, compensation way below the norm, no team work and no actual tools to succeed. Volt does not allow for success because they don't care about their employees or about their business as a whole.

Great opportunity to learn a lot of information in a short amount of time. Would not recommend though due to failing revenue and numbers throughout the company.

I mean working there is okay, the management is quite friendly and have a wonderful open door policy. Just its the pay - it is too low compare to others companies that has the same roles.

You do get to learn quite a bit from the company and management is always wanting to better the company. They will help you learn and grow within your field, with the new Volt as a recruiter I'm covering full cycle recruiting, coordinating (ER and onboardings) , and maintaining client relations as well as more.

Volt was a huge help to me during a time when I needed full time employment on short notice. I was fortunate to be assigned for work and ultimately earned an opportunity to work directly with Volt in recruiting candidates for job placement. The staff and leadership are very supportive and made working with them enjoyable.

I have been struggling with permanent ailments and they are unwilling to offer flexible options or the ability to work from home when possible. Additionally the pay did not equate to the cost of living in my area.

Volt was a great place to work. Unfortunately they no longer have a Tucson office. When I was there it was a fabulous place to work. I had some amazing bosses who taught me so much and made me grow in my knowledge and career. They gave you autonomy to go and do your job the way you see fit., Decent compensation and benefits.

Nothing to say it was a temporary position and the Culture sucks. Management does not care about employees. No upward ability. No Advancement. It sucks.

Volt is a great place to start your career as a recruiter. I learned how to source candidates, call prospects and close deals within a matter of months. I was focused on high volume (very low skill level) tier 1 technical support positions. Overall the time I spent at Volt was good but I eventually needed to move on to gain more experience.

Good place to work, but require a lot from employees. Most companies have a person for each job title needed. At Volt you might find yourself doing payroll functions, onboarding paper, recruitment, sales, screening, special events, and any other duty that requested.

A typical day at Volt, regularly scheduled update meetings I learned more sourcing techniques LOVED working with GREAT Manager The culture was fast paced The hardest part of the job was to meet the extroidinary metrics goals I established amazing relationships with my clients.

Excellent training for staff, management support and feed back. Excellent meetings for staff in regional and national training opportunities. Progressive computer systems for managing candidate qualifications and search programs.
