Unfortunately, Volt has had some rough times over the past decade. The constant roll-over of Executive management has contributed to an environment where it's hard to succeed, unless you happen to be a really good recruiter. Volt has become a company where it's easier to cut people than streamline operations in order to achieve the bottom line, which leads to a steadily shrinking company with disappearing income streams.
You must be physically fit to work in this environment. The key to success is unpacking and loading individual items after scanning them into the database. The more individual items you scanned the better it was for you to get recognized.

Excellent commission potential, however very poor management, extremely stressful working environment, and difficult corporate environment. Lack of responsibility and initiative. Little to no chance for upward mobility. Continuous layoffs. Lack of motivation. Lack of recruiting bandwidth. Disgruntle workforce that have terrible communication internally and extra early with clients.
Do not work here if you kind about any life outside of work
Gone, Company was acquired by Keywords. It was one of the fastest growing, most successful companies that was ever tied to a boat anchor (Volt). As a result it was sold and proceeds were used to replace the plating on the boat anchor.
Most enjoyable part of the job was the people who worked there. Peers, and also mid-level management were great. The hardest part of the job was continuing to give 100% after sweeping layoffs, while understaffed, and without any vision or encouragement from the executive leadership. The President of VCG lacks basic leadership skills, moral character, and an understanding of the Managed Services business.
Lack of stability, declining revenues for several years, no executive vision
Schneider is a great company when it comes to its products and services to its customers. The learning has been good and so has been the role. The management is supportive and colleagues are wonderful. The distance to my office from my home is little far and the most enjoyable part of each day is the new new challenges I get
Nice office campus
