Getting into these types of jobs are super easy to get into since there really is no interview process other than when can you start. There is a screw driver assessment which is pretty easy to pass. My first impression about this place was good seeing how all the workers greeted each other. When I actually started the job, however, it was very unprofessional. I worked during the swing shift (night shift). The biggest issue I had was that there were many people, even the line leader, speaking their native language and considering how bad my trainer was, you can imagine all of gossip they must be talking. That leads to my next issue, the training. You are placed into a random station with no type of job overview. The line leader gives you to one of their veterans to shadow. I sat behind my trainer and had a terrible view. I basically watched her for about 7 hours and for 1 hour, she had me reverse shadow. She was quite rude and expected me to get everything correct on my first try. My next issue I had was the line leader. He practically did nothing but walk around and talked. This is why its hard to promote for these type of jobs since these line leaders/supervisors practically do nothing and get paid for it. On my last day, there was a group of people who came to spray the work station because someone probably caught COVID but they don't notify their workers. Overall, if you are the type of person who treats work as work and nothing else, this place is the place for you.
Super easy repetitive job, easy hiring
Unprofessional work environment, does not follow COVID safety code
It was a easy job not much too it but line work and constant task it takes multi tasking to deal with the products and do the procedures I followed to complete my job
I was not too happy about the online timekeeping, a little frustrating. Also, communication about different jobs was not clear at times and the company that they would send you to would change their minds about needing an employer.
I was recently let go permently because I noticed the the racism is deeper than any thing I've been part of. I tried to call, write, talk about it when they told me I was doing it the right way the Apple company made up a false complaint about my production and fired me!!! They even threatened the leaders on our side to sign off on the false report or they will loose their jobs also!!!

I was hired by Volt to do in store product displays. And to hand out samples. The job is very easy, The products where of high quality. AT most locations the product was delivered directly to the site. At other times the product was delivered directly to my home.
bringing products to the sites
Wish i still worked here! I learned a LOT from working here. The most enjoyable part was the job itself. I adored what i did and miss it very much! Someday, i hope i can go back.

During my rtenure with Volt we got a foot of snow and lost opower for 6 days. My direct manager at the client side said it was ok just be safe, but volt was jumping on me every single day about my time gone due to weqather and it not beign safe ti drive even for a few blocks. Event the transportation people with the govt said not to go anywhere if you did not have to
Great company to seek part time and extra money. I loved the aspect of working for different employers even with one employer. I worked and assembled power units for Schneider Electric until they laid me off, with a reduction of force.
