Will spend time growing you if you want it. Compensation and benefits is going to set you up successfully if you come in at a high base pay. Overall, wonderful team, leadership and culture.

Thank you for your feedback! At Volt we strive to make every interaction from apply to placement a positive one. We are happy that you had a great experience with us. We appreciate you taking the time to share and look forward to continuing our relationship!
Recruiter helped me get placed immediately and then quickly move to another assignment when that one ended. I was paid better than I have been at other temp assignments. Also, they kept me employed for a year with 2 jobs...no breaks.
Motivated to get you working
They treat you like a slave. I was injured on an assignment and I had to fight to get workers comp. I have two degrees and they would put me in manufacturing jobs. The recruiters talk poorly about the temp workers and are condescending. I'm so glad I stopped using temp agencies to find a job they arent worth it.
I have yet to come across issues with Volt Workforce Solutions. They have made my employment very enjoyable thus far, as their staff has always been extremely polite and seem to be a smooth functioning, reliable company to work for.
I have tried with this company since day one, but there has been too many times that were miscommunicated, and they always have a excuse, so do your self a favor and don't work with these people.

I enjoyed working at Volt. We were busy and helped many people find employment. The office was in downtown Portland which made it an easy access, via bus, from just about anywhere. Very professional and always a place of learning and improving.
This is a review for working for Volt as a contract employee, not my employer. Volt is a terrible temp agency. They entice you with saying you'll get vacation after 1000 hours, but then once you get hired on, they change their tune saying they don't offer any paid time off... The turnover is high with their own staffing so you never know if your rep will be available next time you need to reach someone. While I enjoyed my time at my current company, the hardest part was being duped by Volt saying that it would lead to full time employment.. I did not. The company has zero offerings so again, another lie. I definitely learned a big life lesson with this one. Avoid staffing agencies because they do not have your best interest at heart. Profits over people.
No paid days off, terrible healthcare coverage
Volt workforce solutions is a great company to work for. They have a very highly trained staff that knows it's customers very well and knows which type of people to match with there needs,
No health insurance
Just did the job the way they told me without any feedback. Didn't really know if i was doing good or bad. Just did it to the best of my ability. Did learn a lot about Servers though.
Job security it bad and management doesn't seem to be able to help much with everyday problems. Otherwise, it's a good company to work for and I would work there again.
lots of time off, company events, and down to earth individuals.
Little job security, unqualified managers, and long contracts.
Volt was an interesting experience. I don't have much experience in other corporate settings, but the team I worked with were a great bunch. Sadly the company did downsize me so I am unsure how stable they are at this time.
Working as a temporary employee for Volt opened plenty of doors for great opportunity and has always been one of the best experiences. All employees at Volt are extremely helpful and are really wanting to help you get where you want to go.
Waiting a long time to be placed on assignments. Always emailing and calling for updates on when I will start working. Still looking for a full time, permitted job.
not happy with waiting long periods of time for job placements
i learned many different operating systems. co-workers were very approachable when asking questions. management provided lost of feedback so i knew how my performance was. Volt was a temporary agency that kept me recommended for positions.

I worked this job when the previous store was closed. Gave me something to keep going until I could find another job. The work environment was good for a manufacturing job. The work places were kept clean. Started early, and was home at a decent hour.
I did not feel like I was supported enough to be successful on my assignment. Poor communication. There were issues on my job and I was treated unfairly and falsely accused of something that I did not do. I was not allowed to rebut what was said about me.
Nice staff always available to answer questions and they check up on me to see how my assignment is going. It is a temporary employment agency so I don't actually work there. But the employer they placed me with is nice.
Very low pay even for a temporary position.
