My first assignment for Vott was Bio-rad, The corporate policy for Bio-rad is that I could only stay for a year and then be off for 6 months but I can go back after the 6 months to work for another year. Being a temp I don't have as many benefits.Volt is a good company to work for, they try hard to keep their clients working.
I loved working with the team

I thought the job was perfect until they ended my assignment without even telling me then the icing on the cake is I still didn’t get paid for my last week of work. They keep giving the run around & im just hitting dead end roads. I’ve never experienced anything like this with a company before it’s pathetic! They treat anyone who isn’t Hispanic as if their expandable!!

The CSR positions requires heavy reading. The contract was for the Apple phone. I did not own a Apple phone and did not know how to use the phone. However, the manual used explained how to troubleshoot Apple systems. If the phone was not fixed in a telephone session, I directed the customer to send it in for service.
I love computer systems
The fact that the phone call was timed was oppressive.
This company doesn't even try to negotiate holiday pay for employees!!! I was approved holiday pay from client company, BUT Volt just took the clients money and NEVER paid it to me!!! Only paid me STRAIGHT TIME for working on a holiday that the client approved payment of time and 1/2 on paperwork submitted to Volt.
great client company to work for!!
pay discrepancy not fixed
My work experience there were at times fun but overall it was more productive than fun due to my boss always wanting the work experience people to do good in the work force and not to talk a lot to the other people there.
suitable long lunch breaks.
boss was pushing us.
They're ripping you off. 13.50? Never seen that in my entire life especially for a night shift. This company isn't good what so ever see the real reviews, here in indeed is fake.
Stealing more than they should
From management to trainers. At the Tesla plant most of the employees makes it very uncomfortable for people of color. My trainer gave me tons of misinformation so I wouldn't succeed and most of the employees make you feel if you're different you don't belong. They won'
Blatant rascism and disrespect. Dishonesty by management.

Fair pay but poorly managed. Nepotism is rampant. There is zero interest in developing employees and the culture is every person for themselves. Teamwork is non-existent and management decisions are made solely on emotion which will change daily. Employees sit isolated from one another in cubicles and look absolutely miserable. I've honestly never experienced a more unhappy, disengaged group of people in my entire life. The only enjoyable part of the job was when I left the office. There's a reason most companies dont allow Nepotism, but apparently Volt never got the memo.
This role is not for someone who has other responsibilities such as a family. The demand of this role is well beyond 40 hours a week. I was hired with certain expectations of support for the role. I was told they had just restructured. Not long after my employment started, the person who hired me was laid off, then her leadership, then myself. I don't recommend working for Volt.
