Long hours no breaks
Press Operator (Ancien employé) –  1786 Mattawa ave15 septembre 2019
I would not recommend anyone to work here its 8 hours or longer without a break ans when you do take a break you dont get paid for it only good thing is the free healthy drink but $14 an hour is to low for a juice company

Excellent Team and Room to Advance
Nutritionist (Employé actuel) –  1786 Mattawa avenue2 septembre 2019
Hands-down the best team I have ever been a part of. Company faces typical growing pains of a newer company - also means lots of room for advancement.
Points positifs
Free products often available
Points négatifs
Some disorganization in roles and responsibilities of individuals

Friendly Work Environment
In-Store Nutritionist (Employé actuel) –  Toronto, ON29 août 2019
Great company culture, owners and management are very friendly and encouraging. Village really cares about the environment and the ethics behind their products. There is room to grow within the company depending on open positions, as the company grows more opportunities open up. The hours are quite flexible so great if you are a student or have a second job. You also receive a free staff item every shift. However, a lot is expected out of an in-store nutritionist who runs the store by themselves. With having to multitask food delivery apps, checking reset boxes, phone calls, checking customers out, answering questions, cleaning the store, inventory, and making drinks - the hourly pay is low. There are no scheduled breaks so long shifts can feel quite overwhelming, and at times it is hard to eat meals with customers constantly coming in. Overall a great place to work if you want to get a start within the nutrition world.

Flexible job with room for growth!
In-store Nutritionist (Employé actuel) –  Toronto, ON29 août 2019
During many instances over my time there, I have felt supported and also that I was able to trust my own knowledge and instincts. It has been helpful to learn about their products and flex my nutrition muscles. The wage is quite low and if you are not particularly sales driven, can be hard to receive the bonuses that you are eligible for. Overall, would recommend, especially to students.

The company could improve
Production Worker (Ancien employé) –  Toronto, ON3 juin 2019
the job was great due to getting free juices and and food. However, the amount of labour they ask in production the production side was a lot if you start at minimum wage. Management wasn’t bad but could improve.

Good for students and part timers
Production Worker (Ancien employé) –  Mississauga, ON31 mai 2019
This kind of work is good for students and part timers. You can always arrange with the manager on what time you can come to work. Production manager lack experience in managing people. Having worked in the food industry for few years now, I can say that there is no food safety practices in the production department. Foods/juices are prepared in unsanitary way. People are eating foods from the kitchen, drinking juices and using their phones while handling food. Not a single production staff has food handling certificate. Office and Production deparments are not so organized. Staff meetings only happen once in a while so problems are not really discussed.
Points positifs
Fun and friendly staff
Points négatifs
Everyday is different. You could work up to 10 hours or so when it busy.

Productive and Fun Workplace
Bottle Sorter (Ancien employé) –  Toronto, ON19 mars 2019
A typical day at work would have to be very long. I was in the bottling team. We would have a set goals of bottle to be wash by the end of the day. Theres always a certain amount of bottle that needed to be washed. What I learned working here is they use fresh fruits and vegetables to make their juices. Staff are friendly at first but then they don't really care about you. The hardest part of this job would have to be standing for 8 hours in the same spot 5 days a week and the most enjoyable part of the job would be meeting new people and free juices.

Not worth it
Production Worker (Ancien employé) –  Mississauga, ON20 janvier 2019
Would not recommend to anyone looking for a job. I was first invited to a job trial for the production associate position and was the worst decision I ever made. They have high expectations and extensive workload for employee with low pay.

Unorganized workplace
