Working there it was fun learned a lot met some nice people. Their was a lot of favouritism going on when it came to certain things but overall it was ok environment to work in Would’ve been nice to transfer to another location since my store location closed down jobless now
Work is usually a place people get sick of, but for me, I don't think there was ever a day where I complained about ever hating what I did. I loved working with the entire team because everyone was so friendly, relatable and positive! Learning was the best part because management never made you feel bad about the mistakes that you make, and they always give you constructive criticism in order for employees to gain skills and build on them. Personally, what I found hard were the goals. Though most of the time it was definitely a more than a reasonable goal, I found during a time when the store was slow, it was hard to achieve segment goals or even daily goals. The good part was that management always encouraged employees never to dwell on it and focus on doing better and meeting goals the next shift. I'd have to say my whole experience was amazing, and most definitely the best job I've had, but really it was the entire team itself that made it as enjoyable as it was!
Sometimes slow and long shifts

A lot of knowledge of bras gained. Great girls to work with. Short schedules, and never a set schedule. Hard booking time off, but helpful team, in switching shifts and helping each other out when needed.
Great team to work with
Short hour, never a set schedue
Management is too busy contributing to gossip and/or locked in the office to actually manage the place.Fake people. Inconsistent hours.Declining sales
Catty girls, catty girls with too much ego because VS culture, poor unobservant unskilled management
I worked at Victoria's Secret for about 6 months and opened a new location. They have extremely unrealistic expectations of their minimum wage employees, you are expected to sell a certain amount of product without being given any commission. On call shifts are used and you have to call in 3 hours before to see if you are actually working. Overall it was an awful experience, do not work for this company. Management are rude and honestly awful people; they make you feel bad about yourself. Personally, I quit because it was a toxic work environment and hated the job. I would not recommend anyone work for Victoria's Secret, honestly an awful experience.
a typical day: can range from busy to dead what i learned: the different kids of bras, how to measure peoples bra sizes, how every type of bra in there is completely different, whats inside every bra, how every bra sits and feels Management: management was usually pretty good i will admit that they were always understanding if you had issues going on in your life. hardest part of the job: handling a flood of customers coming in at the same time wanting their questions answered first most enjoyable part: the discount, the people you work with
had a potluck every now and then
load music blaring in your ears and the perfume headache you'd get
