Best management team and co-workers I have ever had at a job. Everyone got along, but we were also able to get the stuff we needed to get done, done. This company really knows how to run a business, and I was very impressed with how the store was run. I would definitely work for the company again, so much love!
I learned quite a lot at this job although it was my first job, it was very educational. However, it seemed as if they played favorites in a way, they gave most of the shifts to people that had previously worked there and instead of taking the time to teach and show each new employee each job. There was a 3-day sort of workshop that highlighted a brief description of each job. Despite that, the environment was friendly and inviting. Overall if you want a basic understanding of what retail is like this is the place to start.
You learn a lot as a first job, and very friendly enviroment
Favoritism and not enough with the teaching portion

I love working at vs and don't see myself leaving anytime soon. The company really cares about their employee's and it really shows! Very fairly compensated for the work that I do and I always have fun doing it!
Great environment, benefits, pay.
Trained very fast
In my short time with Victoria's Secret, I was surprised with the incredible team I had the pleasure of working with. The manager's were honest with you, they followed up constantly in regards to inquiries of growth and assistance. Minimum wage is expected for employees on the floor but have heard good things of positions higher. At the end of the day, I resigned from the Store due to hours as their hours are based on product sales, however it is a corrupt system as those who do not get the hours to work, cannot stabilize their sales skills.
Fast paced, Confident Environment, Gender Friendly, Happy Customers
Corrupt scheduling, Pay rate
I didn't find the management to be encouraging or helpful. I felt like another number that didn't matter. When I struggled and asked for help in understanding I was treated like I bothered them or I was stupid. My hours were barely existent to pay bills and when I did work people were unfriendly.
Unfriendly staff and management with no hours available.
Great people to work with and for. Very encouraging when set to meet a goal, given all the resources and support you need. - work closely with customers to ensure they get what they need - I learned the proper technique when sizing a woman and how their garments should fit to provide them with optimal comfort
Typical day at work: Service customers needs, build relationships, clean the store in between customers, reach sales goal of $250/hour What I've learned: Finding out the need behind the need (ex: service their needs as to why they initially came into the store, as well with another need they may need it for that they never thought about) Management: They coach you well on how to achieve your sales goals and how to better connect with your customers so that they leave the store having a memorable experience Co-workers: very easy to get along with and connect with Hardest part of the job: During the day on a weekday when business is slower, it's harder to reach your sales goal. Your weekly hours are based on your sales, hence if you don't maintain a SPAH of $250, you'll receive less hours for the following week. The most enjoyable part of the job: fun/up beat vibes, able to be myself and transpire my personality through my work.
A typical day at work would be checking for stock. Put away any new shipment and organizing everything by size, color, and collection. The managers are all wonderful and really look out for you and for you to do your best. The hardest part of the job is working til 12am on certain days and you have to be available to work til 12am at least 3 days a week. The most enjoyable part of the job is getting out onto the floor, helping the customer with whatever they need. Seeing that customer purchase the items you personally helped them with.
the employee discount on their lovely feminine product.
working til 12am on a sunday or getting one shift a week.
happy place to work with the shipments with the co workers singing and dancing makes working so happy and faster to finish.
