Victoria's Secret is a friendly company to work for, with lot of tasks to keep you busy and opportunities to interact with customers. They hire a variety of ages and people, so everyone feels welcomed into the work family.
Supportive staff, interactive job
Victoria's Secret PINK has been very flexible with my school schedule throughout the years that I have been working at the company. On a typical day as a Brand Operations Supervisor you are leading the sales floor for a few hours as the Customer Sales Lead (CSL), supporting the sales floor for your peers, leading the processing of shipment, and performing operational tasks (i.e. daily business reviews, store weekly focus and reviewing applications of applicants). It is more difficult to move up to corporate level in Canada, especially considering the fact that you will likely have to relocate to the US to do so. The company is extremely generous with its employee's discounts and benefits. Over the years I have learned a lot. I started working here as a shy, timid 20 year old. I am much more confident in myself, my speaking, my conflict resolutions and my capabilities as a leader.
Generous gratis and discount
Hard to move to corporate level in Canada, must be willing to relocate

- included rotations of on the floor, floor organization/re-shelving, cash, and back room inventory skills - i learned a lot about working in retail, being able to work in multiple sectors of a retail job - management was very well-rounded and were very knowledgable about the company and their values - the workplace culture was what was the most off for me, while all the employees are nice and welcoming, there is a lot of underlying judgement felt from some employees - the hardest part of the job was dealing with customers who weren't willing to take the advice of the skilled and knowledgable employees - i enjoyed the overall experience of this job and feel i learned a great amount of workplace skills from this job. however, after working there for about a year, i am unlikely to return back due to the employee working environment
provides large amount of retail workplace skills
employees are kind of cliquey
When I first started working at VS it was a little challenging for me to find my place between all the other long term associate and sometimes I felt left out but after working with them a couple of shifts and getting to know these people I loved being there. It was a positive environment and we worked hard over the course of our shifts but it was always fun.
working with this company is fun also working with different people give me lost of experience .this job environment discovering so many different people character base on we sell shows their expectation.
Just be yourself and Remember that you have the right to say no to things if you weren’t trained to do it. Training is a bit rushed but it’s really easy to catch on. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

It WAS a great place to work at around 2013. I still have friends that work there and it is no longer what it used to be. Typical day for most of us will start at 6 am and finish at around 10am. Lots of unpacking, folding, steaming, hanging and putting sensors on clothing. I learned all the customer service basics.
Big dinning area, microwave and fridge. You get to see and buy all the products before they come on the floor.
Not much room for career advancement
I really liked working here and the job attracts a lot of people who are really great. Unfortuantely, there is a lot of pressure around sales and the company never really seems to be satisfied with the work that is done.
Hired as a seasonal associate, received a good amount of shifts during the holiday season, It was very busy I was mostly on cash and had some early morning shipment shifts. Didn't really like the management team. My co workers were pretty friendly though.
I learned about detailed customer assistant and getting customers to feel very comfortable with their bodies and flaws. I created new needs and ideas for customers, expanding their wants. I was knowledgeable in products to give customers a feeling of confidence and satisfaction.
A lot of brand awareness and product knowledge. Hands on work with customers and doing my best to keep them confident and comfortable during conversation and inquires. Friendly and productive team work was essential, participating in positive feedback and encouraging one another.
