The culture was very fun and upbeat however I had some problems with the management due to the cattiness of some of the worker. I did have some fun while it lasted but I was happy to be finished when I was.
Long Hours and Catty Staff
Interview was in a group setting. Had problems getting my contract sent to me as there were multiple managers and there was miscommunication and delay in getting information. When hired they knew about my other job at the time. Declined my hours that I provided for when I was available when not working at my other job. Had my 3 training shifts and then I was never scheduled for any other shifts.
staff friendly in environment
hard to get in contact over the phone, communication poor amongst managers

Victoria's Secret offers positions that allow individuals to work alone and as a team, doing fun, rewarding services for customers. We have set goals, and many ways to manage those goals. It is a social job, you meet many kinds of people, spend a lot of time cleaning/organizing. Management could use some work, however, company policy is always very strict, which is beneficial. The hardest part of the job is dealing with the public. The most enjoyable is helping women feel better about themselves, and working along some wonderful people.
Many breaks, discounts, incentives
Short shifts, odd hours
The most enjoyable part is working with such fun people, who never fail to make you smile, have fun but also work while your enjoying your time. Typical day includes helping customers with anything that they may need. While also replenishing the merchandise and help freshening up the store, and other various tasks that may need to be done.
Everyone was quite nice to me. Everyone who worked there always encouraged each other to better themselves.
Like most days in sales, you serve the customer as best as you can. Some days suck, maybe because you don't feel well or that just some customers literally are too much to handle. This was my first job in sales and all in all it was not bad. I got to learn how the sales industry works. Managers were fine, but they are your boss so it's much more relaxed around your co-workers. Hardest part was learning quickly so I can live up to the VS standards. Overall, it was a nice experience, but if I every want to work sales again I think I want to go in my comfort zone of sporting goods.
Benefits, every month there is an item that is either free or very cheap for the employees, and after three months of work you get a long list of items that you can have.
I mean it's sales, it's not everyones cup of tea.
It was my first retail job and I loved it. I was hired when the store first opened in Halifax, everyone was very excited and we had a dynamic work team. The managers are laid back and the company in general motivates their employees alot! If like to have fun with a bunch of girls then you should definitely work here!
Not enough hours
