Great staff, fair pay - high stress from the top, all the way down to the bottom. The owner is intense, and has difficulty interacting appropriately with staff at times. The associate dentist is very skilled, and treats both staff and patients with resptect and care.
I have been with Dr Viana for many years and have been blessed to learn so much from him. I feel Dr Viana takes pride in giving his staff opportunities to grow and strive to be successful and upmost confident . Dr Viana cares for all his patients immensely ,I have never worked for a dentist that works so hard to be fantastic and make his patients happy even if it cost him time away from his own family or end up with little financial gains . He provides endless training and encouragement to all staff and takes all feedback to help patients and staff success . Dr Viana works hard to make there staff and patients feel like family. This office is in my long term goals for myself and family and highly recommend.
Training, culture, consistent hours, high wage
The dentist(owner) is disrespectful and degrades his staff in front of the patients. Workplace is toxic, staff is never constant, always changing. (quitting) You never get your full hour break and always have to stay in after your shift. The dentist expects a lot from the assistants and emotionally drains them. I would not recommend this work place. The pay is decent but its not worth the amount of time and energy you have to put in.
benefits and decent pay
Rude dentist, never get a full break, unprofessional
Great opportunities to grow in this role. Upward advancement possible. Cross training provides the team with the ability to really help each other out and work together during busy times. Leadership team is invested in helping you improve with coaching, paid one on one training, online training and support. Culture has the team communicating daily in huddles and creating comradierie. Fun things in the office include, lunches, incentives, contests, games, team nights out.
Daily huddles, ongoing, incentive program, benefits, team building events
Great incentive programs with clear goals to give an opportunity to earn more on top of your hourly wage! There a lots of advancement opportunity within the practice
Great pay, clear goals

High stress, gossip filled office lead from the owner. No work life balance. Practice focus is making money only not providing proper patient care.
This is an office to work at if you value money only. All aspect of the business focus’s on money only. From morning huddle discussing money to reporting your sales numbers before you leave. High turn over of staff, manager extremely stressed out, unrealistic sales expectations and demands to push prepays on patients constantly. You are valued for what you sell to your patients, not the care you give them in your clinical room while you work.
Pay and bonuses are the only incentive to work there
Owner pushes staff to sell treatment to patients, whether it’s needed or not. Patient care does not seem to matter, the amount of the money the practice makes is all Viana Dental Focus is
This is a toxic workplace. There is no professionalism. You will have no work/life balance. The staff is often overwhelmed and belittled by management. Stay away at all costs.
There is none!
Too many to list!
Reasonable pay, the associate dentist is amazing! Horrible “management”, unnecessary stress, constant changes, high sales quotas, exc. They can’t keep staff, every week someone new starts and usually they often don’t stay longer than a few months. The great pay is not worth your mental stress.
If you want a life outside of work this job is not for you. If you don't care then you will be a good fit. PROS: Office has great pay, lots of learning opportunities, benefits and bonuses. CONS: Ever changing staff which makes it impossible for the entire team to work together. Complicated systems which are always updating---good on improvement but no one is ever on the same page. Expected to not only work all your regular scheduled hours, but always running behind so you will stay late almost every single day with no appreciation or 2nd thought. They do not value their work/life balance so do not expect them to value yours.
