There’s always good communication between the staffs but not much with clients! No issues with pay and respect! Just need more hours to meet up with bills

The Job is rewarding, but some times clients demands are impossible.

As regards to my typical day of work, my routines are cleaning the apartment of the client and do some laundry.

What I learned from my job is the value of patience in adjusting to different types of personality of the clients.

The management is fair enough.

Felt independence in the work place as I was doing my job alone. Each employee mind his/her own business.

If the client had demands which is not included in the job description and included in our limitations. Clients demand made me chose whether or not to give in to client's demand which will violate company policy. In these times, I always abide by company policy.

I was really happy to see that my clients appreciated and happy with my performance so much so that they requested the company that I will always be their homemaker.

A stepping stone for future goals
Scheduling Coordinator (Employé actuel) –  Otawa, On5 juin 2015
A typical work day consists of listening to messages in the morning, returning urgent phone calls immediately and non-urgent ones at a later time. (task management)
If it is pay week, I must approve time sheets and how much field staff workers are to be paid.
Consulting with City of Ottawa Support services on client issues, concerns, changes and updates. as well as terminating and opening paper& electronic files. Doing light administrative work
Attending meetings with fellow schedulers and management and discuss issues, concerns and changes in the programs.

Management is easy to talk to and have an open door policy and are always willing to help if needed. They are knowledgeable in their fields and provide the proper feedback to improve at my job.

Co-workers are alright, of course some can be difficult to work with but that is always part of the job. In my department we work mostly independently and manage our own caseloads. Any issues that arise we direct it to the appropriate supervisor.

The hardest part of the job is having to send a client back to the City of Ottawa for another agency to staff. Since it is my job to find an appropriate match for them, however, sometimes the reality is that perhaps there is another agency out there that can meet their exact needs.

The most enjoyable part of the job is to create bonds with clients and workers and knowing that at the end of the day at least one person will Thank you and be happy with the service you provided them with.
