  • Pay your HCA’s a competitive wage! Nothing else you could possibly do will work in saving the downfall this company is in! It will not get better and you will not get more staff in if you don’t start paying your staff better! SO GET ON IT!!

  • Money talks - get our wages on par with IHA. Where is the money the Gov't set aside to do just that? Why can we not have that now? It would also be nice if there was greater recognition for all the people who are continuously working short staffed and extending their shifts to cover, and a box of Timmies donuts will not do! Perhaps a bonus at the end of each month or the year like a few $ for every shift you worked short and for those who work a year without a sick day.

  • If you have 2-3 staff doing the work of 4-5, pay the employees better.. your making money off of the EMPLOYEES BACKS, you obviously need the staff, how about treating them like they are needed and valued.

  • Effect a positive change in creating better incentive to keep your employees and bolster the supportive culture. Bring the management to the floors and create an open line of communication with the daily staff.
    Being competitive in wages always helps too, and there is always room for improvement.

    Sudden changes in employee lines and hours to improve efficiency and shore up the staffing shortage should be handled cautiously and take in to account those who currently are in those positions. What effect it has on their current lives and how may the employee and management best negotiate the change. On a person by person basis if need be. Show them vantage cares.

  • Show more compassion towards the staff show appreciation towards the staff
