Horrible culture. Anyone saying different must be related to one of the employees. It seems everyone is related to someone there.
It entirely depends on what role you are applying. If it is on the plant side floor level, it could be 1 to 2 days specially during the season, but for office or senior roles, it takes longer time.
Set hours, and you never know where you're working that day or with who, which could make or break your day. Enjoyed working on the production machines and the pay was ok
You receive 10 days of vacation per year, the typical two weeks. Unless you're on contract then you do not receive vacation days.
Not sure now but when I was interviewed it focused on details on time management, knowledge of product and problem solving and how you would deal with it. BUT! the window to learn all of this and more is really really short I'll even go as far to say nonexistent and the willingness to get help in there from your fellow material handlers is only a hand full of people.
Poor management and lots of bad behavioural employees. Benefits program is very basic. No RRSP program.
