It is rotating shifts- they don’t allow people to work straight nights, let alone straight days! Maybe you are lucky to be picked for pilot or special projects.
This is the policy of Toyota, therefore no straight shift only shift work.
It would have to be a substantial medical reason with documentation.
Generally, there has to be a very good reason, like Dr's orders but then you'd be working with 2 teams and the flow wouldn't be the same
