Make no mistake about it. Its not what you know but who you know. Coworkers were great but HR is dysfunctional to say the least.
Full timers for the most part are hired based on whether management like you or not. As a result unqualified people get the full time jobs and take the job for granted when lots of other qualified 'contract' people couldn't get a full time job regardless of their qualifications. If you complain HR will relocate you to another department or outright not hire you back.
After the Walkerton fiasco one would think that HR would stop with the nepotism cronyism hiring practice.

would of like to step into there winter position but the procedure is you must apply to all because of it being contract work
