The typical work day would be 8 am prep of the lettuce and other food products for the day and then taking orders and washing dishes from 10:30 on to the end of my shift. I learnt how to multitask and work well with others Management was nice but the environment was not respectful as there was a lot of negative talk and management did not deal with any harassment as there was a lot of favoritism.
50% off one meal when you worked
started off great then general store managers changed and went downhill. would not give you full time hours even if you were hired for full time hours
no employee recognition awards. no yearly review or raises. very stressful. management is rude and unprofessional. would not get full time hours even if you were hired for full time, which left a lot of people to find second jobs. when you changed availability to make a living and juggle both jobs, they would not adjust your hours accordingly and would schedule you beyond your availability. and if they should ever call you at home to pick up a shift, heaven forbid you are unable to answer their call, now you just lost more hours on your next schedule
People as in fellow crew members are amazing. Management has no clue about how to manage people effectively. Punish people for being late, or calling in sick. Could be working 40 hours per week but if you call in sick go down to 20. Be careful if you get pregnant. My gf was called useless because she refused to bend as per doctors orders. Also if you stick up for yourself ei. Your rights theyll cut your hours. Or if you follow proper procedure. If you dont follow the managers way. Even if it goes against company policies youll get less hours and written up. Lets not forget if youre working full time 40 plus hours for over 2 years. Expect them to hire a new part time employee wholl get more hours than you. The company is toxic; help yourself and apply somewhere else.

Mostly a fast paced working environment with little downtime. Hours are fair, albeit sometimes long. Only major complaint is how the management interacts with each other, lots of passive aggressive comments make for some tense shifts.
A typical day at wendy's would be me coming in and the managers letting me know what position i was to work that day. usually i would be put on grill or on drive thru. When i was on the grill position my duties were to drop the chicken, the strips, and the meat for the different sandwiches. When i was on drive thru a typical day was taking orders and making drinks while someone else would put the orders together and give the food to the customers. I think the funnest part was getting a good time. Every day was a challenge starting with a time of 132 and having to bring it down to a good time of 90 or 100. the best time i had was 82 and my boss was really happy about this. If i ever worked night shifts my duties were to close the grill station make sure everything was nice and neat for the morning and if there was a new person i would train and evaluate them for the managers and boss.
50% off on meals
sometimes my hours were cut because we had many people working.
it is a fun work place, although there is a lot of drama and a lot of competition of hours as there is too many people working at the store.
A typical day at work would be to come at 4pm and take orders at the drive thru window, make the drinks, collect money at the cash register, and hand out the order. On top of that i have a responsibility to make prep for the next days shift such as catsup bottles etc, as well i wash all the dishes and clean up the sink area at the end of the night. I leave around 1am. I learned a lot from people working there. I learned to how to help the company make more profit by up-selling, as well to handle customers who are unsatisfied. I have a huge personality and that is why over a few months i have my regular customers who i have learned their orders off my memory, they come in every few days.
I get most of the hours i would like, friendly environment.
It is a dirty job, i wash a lot of dirty things, you get on your hands and knees which i do not mind but its not worth the pay.
The day would be determined by the managers, there are different positions that need to be worked and depending on the position your tasks will vary. I learned many things, team work, speed, cleanliness and sanitation, customer service and basic inventory calculating. the managers would vary some had passion and patience others didn't care. Upper management were usually professional. Same as managers some employees cared about the food they made and the speed and efficiency, others did not it was just a job to them. The hardest part was cleaning grease by far. I enjoyed the people I worked with and the whole team feeling, I enjoyed serving regular customers and new customers. there was a lot I enjoyed.
Working with different cultures and different managers can be confusing. Only because different managers does things differently. but once you get to know each managers expectations its easy
