Really good place to work if you like working in a fast pace environment. The staff always likes to have fun while working but still gets the job done when they need to
My experience with this company was difficult. The expectations were never clear, and often not communicated. I discovered workers' time cards were being tampered with, and resigned when there was no attempt to stop the falsification of time records.
I went into Wendys as a management trainee. The training is good, on hand training as well as videos, etc. Pay could be a bit better. Job is easy, fast paced. Good place to work if you love customer service work.
Hot and greasy atmosphere
A place where every one works as team. Learned a lot P&L, Scheduling, Labour Management and so on. This is a place where I saw a culture of warm and belonging where every one is welcomed.
Free Lunch, Gives an opportunity to learn and grow
Really not any
Excellent work place. If you want to be challenged this is the place for you. If you enjoy working with the public this is great and rewarding
I would recommend this as a work place to anyone. My typical day started at 8AM. Oversaw preparation for the day. I learned and strengthened my leadership roles. I learned that dealing with the public is very challenging, but if you strive to keep the customer happy, then the company benefits.
Challenges your abilities
I learned so many interpersonal skill with my employment at Wendy's. As a crew member, I learned all positions. As management I learned to work with team members of all ages. I was able to adapt quickly to any task and think fast on my feet. The hardest part of the job was to get all members working together to create a good working flow in order to get our products out the door quickly. I would say the most enjoyable part of job was working with such a diverse workforce. I learned so much for all of them. I enjoyed the customer service part of the job and that every day was never the same.
Working as an assistant manager at wendys has been very beneficial. I've learned a lot of great and valuable skills and lots of experience in customer service and management. Each shift i work i successfully run the shift, meaning i manage the product levels, waste control, managing the productivity of the staff while meeting sales and service times. My shifts are run at a 90% or higher level of success. The management is very helpful with training and making sure the staff and other managers have the tools and skills they need to succeed. The crew and my co-workers are always friends and easy to get along with. I am a people person which helps create good bonds with my other co-workers. The hardest part of the job id have to say would be being able to cope with the stress that comes with such a fast paced job. Hitting service time goals as well as delivering fast and friendly service can be quite the challenge but i feel i have succeeded in being able to maintain a good balance between the two during each shift i work. The most enjoyable part of the job has to be the people i work with, and being able to make the customers day better by giving them the high quality service that they expect from our restaurant.
Free meals and lots of training
Lots of overtime hours while on salary
It's an OK place to work, however, some employees are of questionable morals and behavor. I quit working there, not only because my car broke down and I had no other transportation, but because of the behavior of some of the other employees. I couldn't handle all the yelling and screaming at one another ALL the time over nothing.
