Overall the job is very basic fast food job featuring the same tasks daily. Enter the job with a small skill set that expands over time for the job. Most enjoyable part of the job was the positive customer interactions.
1 50% off meal on the day you work
Sometimes extremly long hours
No I did not have an interview with Wendy’s because they ask significant amounts of illegal questions. You may not ask the name of an employees High School, the city of the Highschool, their age, their College and location of (previous or current), and the list goes on. Management should consider consulting an HR representative to help them review their applications to ensure it is LEGAL. Also, that they are hiring with equal opportunity for everyone as per Wendy’s policy.
I have had a great time working there and wish I could get another chance to work there. My co-workers were amazing and also had great jokes. They all have sarcasm and talk to the costumers the same way that they talk to you even better!!!

My co-workers at Wendy's were nice and very helpful, and they did train me appropriately; demonstrated how they do procedures and they never left me standing alone clueless. Overall there was a positive workplace culture. The hardest part of the job was working the fry station; very high stress environment and there is no room for moving slowly or taking your time. I personally believe that a task should be completed with quality, and worry about quantity second.
Helpful, friendly staff
High stress areas such as the fry station
Poor management. NO regards to availability. If you want a mature work place this is not the place. A lot of employees treat it like a high school cafeteria. Worst experience of my life. Broke my toe and they would not allow me to work with crutches so I had to put pressure for 8 plus hours on a freshly broken toe.
I worked with my family so some days were hectic, but it was fun while I was there. The shifts were good and the hours were excellent as I always had a smile on my face after recieving my bi-weekly pay cheques.
A lot of people underestimate the hard work that goes into being a Wendy's employee. It helped keep me in shape and I enjoyed working with most of the people who worked there. I have learned that the fast food industry is not really for me. It's a great job for first timers.
A typical day at work was a consistent thing; clean in the morning, then cook for consumer satisfaction. I learned to make sandwiches, make good chili, and to use the machines in order to perfectly cook the food. Management was extraordinary. They all had great attitudes towards work and co-workers, were easy to talk to, were easy to get along with, and did what they could for everyone's satisfaction. The Workplace had been around for a long time, and has spread throughout the world to create good food for consumer satisfaction. The hardest part of the job was cleaning the store and the machines, outdoor property, tools, and equipment. The most enjoyable part was seeing the customers/consumers satisfied.
Consumer satisfaction, cooking, great management
Cleaning, memorizing sandwich creations
follow schedule that you are given, complete tasks. how to keep your self busy, do things that you see need to be done without being asked. management was easy to talk to and offered help when asked. co-workers were all there to do a job and did so accordingly, job was a comfortable environment made it easy to ask questions.
discount and flexible hours
at times short staffed
I would prep vegetables and salads, re stock the areas that needed to be stocked(condiments, drinking cups, cutlery, sauces, salads, hamburger patties ect..) i would help manager open up restaurant. I would stock up ice bins, make sandwiches, make fries, washed all utensils, made drinks for customers orders, cleaned eating area ect. I worked well with my co- workers, they enjoyed my company always. The hardest part of my job was constantly working with food and couldnt eat it. The most enjoyable part was meeting new people and working with others
50% off food, Learning new things
