A typical day at work is always a fun time with my co-workers. It's a fun and serious environment. Everyone is always working hard together to get the job done. As someone once said "team work makes the dream work" and that's how I think a working environment should be, everyone getting along, awhile working hard.
Not enough staff
If you can work in a fast pace environment and can adjust to rapidly changing work environment it is a good place to work and you get to work as a team
Gives good work skills for other opportunities in the future
Long hours and physically tiring

The job wasn't horrible. I enjoyed the people I worked with, and the work wasn't too easy or too hard. I was just bored. Constantly doing the same tasks everyday, with nearly the same customers over and over again gets old quickly. Management was decent, but not as professional as they should be. I enjoyed the hours and the schedule was catered to my personal life.
50% off food
Management is friendly and great to the crew but are totally under paid. Hard work should be paid accordingly and there was no raises being given, ever.
Free lunch, great management, nice friendly people
Low pay rate, long hours, low staff levels
Wendy's is a very fast pace job. I had to memorize everything on the menu which was hard at first but all my co-workers were very kind and friendly which made it much easier. Overall it is a great environment.
Free drinks and 50% off food
Wendy's, delicious food and great management. Working at Wendy's was the best six months of my life. I was able to come into work, get caught up on what needs to be done and work with awesome people. One of my favorite things at Wendy's was I was able to meet different people who shared the same interest as myself. We were able to connect, which made work go by so quick. Management was able to give me my requested shifts and book the days off when needed; this was great as a was going to school at the same time. I highly suggest those who need a part-time or full-time job (as they have permanent benefits, for those who need it.)
Half off meals
Lots of cleaning
The typical day as part of the crew entailed making sure that the inside and outside of the restaurant was prepared for customers, and organized to run a busy station during rush periods at the beginning of the day. At the end of the day, the crew were responsible for cleaning all stations for the next business day, as well as keeping certain ingredients prepared in cooling for their need. As management, I was responsible for having a crew in both day and night times. At all times, I had to make sure the crew were both positive and productive, making sure every job is completed well, and keeping daily records of transactions. I was responsible for the money in a floor safe, as well as making sure money and product were in line to their expected amounts. Also, I needed to record any and all wasted products, provide security to crew who needed it, and pick up any slack that was missed.
Was able to pick up a great deal of confidence and experience in customer service, food preparation, and professionalism
- typically management is paid so low that they have trouble keeping good help. 12 dollars an hour to be a manager. It's not worth it at all. Hours are long and the District manager is breathing down your neck constantly. This is not a job I recommend for anyone over the age of 20, even for managers.
I have worked for Wendy's five years ago, I started as crew and I met amazing employees and just the over all place was very relaxed and calm. It's a great place for a first job. I ended up leaving that place to further and expand my experience for customer experience and ended up going back to Wendy's this past year, I became management and was able to take on responsibility and coach and train crew how to properly do something that is productive and encourage them to get the job done fast and and accurately.
Free meals for management
Long hours, Mixed shifts.
Work on a daily basics was steady and good with a steady flow of customers coming into our restaurant, This was my first job and I have learned a lot working here as I was taught all potions in our restaurant being able to work at any position needed too, learning how to deal with customer complaints and how to treat customers with a friendly and just be yourself attitude. I've also learned how to maintain food and restocking supplies within our restaurant ensuring that we were ready for our lunch and dinner rushes. I have also learned how to count money and handle the cash registers while taking orders for our customers. Management at times were lost and sometimes didn't know what they were doing causing a lot of confusion within the business but were great people to work with. Co-workers here are great workers and always wanting to get the job done and was a pleasure to work with them as I created some great friendships working here. Overall the job wasn't that hard to do and there was no real hard part during the shift, but the only problem was not being recognized for the hard work I would do, enjoyable part of the job was being able to work with the great people working there, while having a fun but professional time doing it.
A typical day at work was sandwich-making, grill hamburgers, cleaning washrooms, washing windows, taking out the garbage.
employee discounts during the shift
taking time to replace salad bar, and having to empty the ice in the salad bar during a midnight shift
Working at Wendy's was very fun. I as a cashier would count my till on and off with a manager present, then proceed on line to a cash register, i was friendly to my co-workers as they were to me. The hardest part of my job was scraping fryers clean. The most enjoyable part of my job was dealing with customers.
dealing with angry people.
When I worked at Wendys for the first few months working there it was great, everyone treated you good, and made you feel like you were at home, I learned a lot about good costumer service at Wendys. The management team at Wendys was not the greatest, further into my work period it became hard to work with some of the employees and managers. There was a lot of drama created in the work environment and was tough to focus on my job. The hardest part of working at Wendys was having to deal with the drama and inconsiderate people everyday. The most enjoyable part of working at Wendys was probably being able to satisfy my costumers and being able to put a smile on their face every day.
free lunches when you covered shifts, employee of the month privileges and awards
not enough hours sometimes, not extremely great management
