I enjoyed my job over all, and there were very nice employees. but there is always a few bad apples on the tree. I'm happy for the opportunity that I did receive and the experience as a new member of the work force.
food benefits, lots of hours, schedules, perfect for first time employees
ng staff, disrespectful to staff in front of customers. belittling staff, no professionalism or respect for the Brand
Was busy always taking orders and handing out orders. Periodically had to clean the dining room and entrance doors. Even run out take out to cars. Handled cash. Worked at more than one locations when they needed more people. Worked great hours and made decent money.
Great crew members. Great hours and pay.
Working at three different locations.

As a first job it is a great choice they are very flexible with the schedule and and the starting pay is decent. It can be fun at times but I can be tough during the high peak hours. They managers are always happy to help you if you need it. Overall it a good starter position.
No required breaks
The hardest part of the job was not having enough space for everyone to move around without bumping into each other. They laugh and crack jokes at everyone and have an all-around fun time at work.
Wendy's is relaxed just enough so that the job and the employees are not so rigid
Not enough space to move around without bumping into one another
It was a nice little job the keep money in my pocket. Nice employees, amazing manager, clean working Environment, always on task, and I just don’t have no problems with this job what so ever.
OverallMy experience working at The Wendy's Company was great the first few days but after that, everyone seemed to be more hostile. When I didn't know where something was, I'd ask the nearest person but they'd brush me aside and say "it's in the back". One manager said that I wasn't trained properly (I wasn't even trained) but didn't want to train me either. Soon after I was supposed to be in a specific station but the employees pushed me aside and said they got it. Overall the job sucks. Most of the employees are ill mannered and short tempered. They do not get along with new hires even when asked for help.

I have years of experience with wendy's and this year I recently came back and when I mentioned my experience with manager I was still offered minimum wage. I was desperate for a job so I took it. As time passed new employees came on board and it was brought up opportunities they were presented with not too mention there starting pay was different. I guess that's why they say not to discuss lay amongst each other. When I took the job I was having a baby soon and I asked about the paternity leave benefits in which they knew nothing about that they would get back to .e on. When time got closer I brought it back up a d they explained I would have to work at least 30 hours a week to get 1 hour of leave time. So with that being said I only accumulated a few hours and I wasn't able to take a leave. I started working a second job through the year so I would only work about 20 25 hours a week . I lost a month out of my first child growth simply because I couldn't afford to take a leave. I worked 15 days straight one time and they didn't pay out overtime. It would get to 39 and they would make me call out. They call me in and I would take it simply off the idea of overtime but no.. none. Rant over*
No overtime. Disorganization of management. Rude mangers.
The Englewood store is a training store they taught you everything and didn’t let you miss out on nothing keeping it clean was a Priority keeping the customers satisfied smiling and happy is number one for the restaurant to keep them coming back for business I enjoyed my job I learned so much would definitely recommend
I made some friends there but when you go there remember it is only as hard as you make it. Never was late I worked two or more stores. I worked shift people called in for. I walked to work if I had to.
You are still in business
The company was cotti foods a franchise.
I liked Wendy's the experience I got out of wendys was fun most of the time it was a team we all pull together making it fun able to laugh to interact with. Civilization was one of the main things I worked on the 5 years I was there.
Not too good about lettin people go on break
I had a second job during the summer and management didn’t give me a single shift for an entire month. Keep in mind my availability was any evening 5pm-11pm and for one whole month I didn’t get a single shift
its ok, nothing special, really stressful and they put a lot of the heavy lifting on me, and im a teenager, the people were kinda friendly but they were all weird and either middle aged or young like me no in between
This job is a great job! You get along with everyone and everyone is full of life. The employees love their jobs and so do the managers. They have a strong reinforcement policy for insubordination. You get rewarded for all the hard work you do. You get a free meal for working hard, and you get to wear jeans!!!
Manager Meal if worked hard, insurance, positive people
Low pay, overworked, too much drama among employees
The Wendy's in Schiller Park is a fun place to work and a good first job.The crew members are friendly and will try to help you where they can, although as can be expected they will talk about you behind your back. The management is hit or miss, they are either good or bad at their job, willing to help or sitting down and being lazy.
The pay isn't worth all of the bull we have to put up with. A lot of people come in and out, but the managers don't have a lot of patience to train new hires. If you do well at first, they may or may not like you. It just really depends. Policies and culture change constantly. One day, it's fine to do it this way, but the next day it has changed. The corporate stores are the worst. Management doesn't care about you once you go above GM level. All they care about are sales and cutting labor. Most of the people working there are either burnt out or have no clue how to run the place.
Half off food when you work (crew)
disorganized, no benefits, exhausting
