C'est une très bonne entreprise avec de très belles valeurs.
Je suis heureuse d'y travailler.

Mon seul point négatif est par rapport au salaire. Pas très élevé pour la charge de travail demandé.

If you want fast paced work to get the day finished quickly, work at the winners(marshalls)/homesense together, there is more opportunity for work otherwise it can get boring in one or the other, besides weekends.
Management was split 50/50 with who you liked and who you didn't. I was lucky and the lady that assigned shifts cared about us, especially the kids that had school work to balance. but she had to leave for a family thing for a few months and we had one of the robot managers that couldn't care less about our personal lives take over for her.

If you work for a year, you get a small raise but otherwise you have to apply to go up within the company if you want better pay, and you have to be on full time to do it.

It is a good place to work. You can a workplace culture. I have learned a lot about customer service. Managers are qualified. They guide you during your training process.

Normal working environment with most of the managers being so nice and a few others very unfriendly. Staff were very nice and collaborative, showing support.

Great culture and work-life balance. More opportunities needed for advancement and creativity within one's own job.

I truely enjoy my work with tjx canada.
Sadly i have been laid off due to store closure, but will love to return once they open again.

This company provides a safe, inspired professional work place, for all diversity of many cultures of managment and associates.

They provide constant learning and unlimited advancment opportunities.

I would highly recommend the company.

They hire you as a part time associate, then they take your hours down to 4 or 8 per week. No chance for advancement. No way to make a decent living. Can't get ahead there

You never know who you're going to get when you talk to the store manager...one moment she's your best friend and the next she couldn't even be bothered to look in your direction. If you need certain hours or have another schedule to work around, I suggest you look for a more accommodating company. You will work between 4 and 40 hours a week and good luck getting them to work around your availability.

The managers make for a toxic environment. The turnover rate of staff has really increased in the last 6 months as most of the long term staff have resigned. 3 of the 5 managers are rude and condescending to staff in front of customers. Employee morale has been on a steady decline for the last 6 months as well. When employees bring concerns to management, the managers will hear (to a point) the employee before shooing them away for wasting their time, promising to fix what ever the issue is. But it never gets done. Advancement is only offered if the manager "likes you", then they will assist in advancement. The favoritism is disgusting. If the store manager doesn't like you, she will literally push you to quit. Customers actually communicate to the employees in person (either at the store or in public if they recognize you for working there) that they only shop when "certain people" aren't on shift. It's pretty bad.

As soon as I started my training i could feel how nice the work environment was. Everyone was really warm and welcoming, helpful and nice. The management team does a great job at picking great staff, it really felt like a team and one I was happy to be apart of. With any Job it really is what you make it but at TJX I often find myself feeling appreciated and happy.

Best part:my fellow associates and the management team is great.This job makes me dislike people. I love that I get to be creative.

I was first hired along with 50 others for a brand new store opening. 40 hour weeks but once the store opened I was lucky if I got 8 hours a week. Winners prides themselves on never laying off employees...they don't have to....no one can afford to work there

A typical day at work would involve assisting customers with buying decisions,operating cash register and adding machine to receive cash for sold items, calculating discounts and rewards as appropriate, stocking shelves and count merchandise, answering phone calls and proceeding as necessary, and working at the store’s warehouse.
I have learned to multitask, put a plan before starting to work to finish as many tasks as possible, and gained better communication skills.

The managers are super friendly, helpful, and professional.

It is an ok job , however it requires extra physical strength for long hours which can become too tiring sometimes. Having a super busy frontline, messy floor, and rude customers might have been frustrating at first however after a while I have managed to adapt to the situation.

Communicating with customers, and letting a customer leave with a smile on their face is an enjoyable part of the job.

Few staffs are friendly. Overall, I was feeling isolated. Also I felt uncomfortable atmosphere to work here. For example, they do not want to talk to you or greet you or acknowledge your greeting. They see you need help just pretend do not know unless you reach them.
They did not give me any feedback. So I felt confused and awkward. My conclusion is may be they just dislike me.

Management don’t do anything and they don’t care at all about employees. Super racist despite TJX claiming they’re “so diverse”. Employees are disrespectful to one another and constantly cause drama

Hands down the best company that wants to see you successful. The knowledge and willingness to teach is the best. Management is very hands on and will help out the team . The core values they follow everyday

Le nombre d'heures est ridicule, une semaine tu auras 35h et l'autre d'après 7. La direction est aussi incompétente qu'exigeante. Elle désire qu'on offre un service excellent alors que celle-ci s'installe confortablement pour discuter, manque de professionnalisme et ne respecte que très rarement les horaires des étudiants. Constamment des nouveaux employés puisqu'ils ne désirent jamais travailler pour Winners longtemps.

If you are looking for a first job then go work with TJX; need to hire people who apply online, because not everyone gets a fair chance when hiring on references. Overall good place/environment; need to add fans for summer because it does get humid.
