Overall I had a great experience, the people were great, and the boss was even better. Very understanding, and kind. Just didn't like the certain capitalism. There is a man whom works there that should be fired for being racist, and misogynistic, but still has his job because he brings lots in for the company. Thats is the biggest thing I don't like about the Source. If you can overlook that, then you should be fine. Overall great workplace, 8.5/10.
I was only seasonal but as soon as I started everyone was so warm and welcoming. They immediately treated me as part of team. Super helpful, kind and nice. Management is amazing and is incredible when it comes to accommodating disabled people (IE me)

The overall environment was a lot of fun. getting to interact with the community and customers was the best part of the job besides getting to see all of the cool new tech that has come out.

Although my time at the Source was short, my managers were always willing to help me out with any issues and were more then willing to balance my schedules so that my shifts didn’t interfere with my personal life
Really enjoyed my time working at The Source. Good environment, good staff, interesting mix of people that walked through the doors. Time spent after helping customers and completing daily tasks was spent talking about technology, gaming, movies, etc.
Job is okay, and the management is decent, but they are far too focused on cellphones. The source isn't consumer electronics anymore, its cellphones and accessories the way management sees it. far too focused on cellphones and email capture to be an overall enjoyable experience

You really get to know everybody you work with resulting in a comfortable environment that fosters growth and a future for every employee involved, with opportunity not only to help the customer, but to help your fellow employee seek the vision laid out in order to benefit each party involved.
Benefits, Casual environment
The company does well enough to foster training and skill, but places such a heavy hand on how much your numbers are up it makes it an undesired place to work with monthly or weekly postings up where all employees can see how well you are doing or how far you are behind in your measurable sales.

most of the beginning was all online work, module 1,2,3 etc, merchandising displays, opening and bringing out new inventory, answering questions about certain product knowledge, giving direction on how to use a product or the differences

Working for the source was quite a short experience for me as I was only there about one month due to the contract that would end after the holiday season. In the time I was employed there the training and the managers were all very straight forward and focused. My training could be completed outside of work if that would be desirable due to the modules held online which although done on company time, had also let me complete my training at my own rate and willingness. One large bonus was the independence given in the store to take charge of tasks however deemed fit: Being able to plan my day and the current task i'm working ahead of time is crucial to helping me stay on track. This level of freedom at the source was undeniable, not to mention the attitude of the atmosphere was very relaxing and ensuring. Any typical day dealt with many problems I had never dealt with before, yet everytime a resolve was just a question away with such a helpful team. Over all best place I've worked yet!
they need to learn to listen to their employies more and not blindly trust one manager over the rest of the staff. They also will force you to sell phone plans to meet the quoda, and that will pressure you to pressure customers to get phones when you know they didn't come in for a phone and would be much happier leaving without one.

I only worked there for about a month and a half but this is the job I have enjoyed the most. I didn't mind coming in to work because I loved the people there. Truly amazing. I also didn't mind staying a bit extra or coming in a bit early!

Slows down after the holidays
