Thank you for your feedback. We will strive to do better and hopefully clarify our expectations to intern volunteers more effectively in the future. It is very difficult for any businesses to keep any employees that are not available for weekend shifts or cant meet our high customer service expectations. I hope that you will one day realize the opportunity that you were given, and hopefully, use it as an opportunity to grow.
Additionally, we really do go through hundreds of applicants to find the candidates that suitably reflect our fun-loving and customer-centric culture. Sadly we may not get this selection correct all the time, but we do try our best to nurture and empower every member of our team as they were our own family member. Last year was a tough one for us, as it was our first year, and staff were well aware of that, so shifts were not always guaranteed due to weather, demand and river conditions.
