Busy high energy pub with fabulous regulars!

My shift starts at 9am, so I arrive at 8:45 and unlock the restaurants doors. Following that, I do my office duties. Which includes processing cashouts, payroll, bank deposits, tipout and scheduling. Once that is completed, I set up the entire restaurant and bar and ensure the restaurant and staff are ready for a busy lunch service. Once all opening duties are completed I take on the roll as head bartender. Which includes making drinks for other servers and myself, and multitasking between tending a busy bar and section, while overlooking the restaurant and making sure everything is running smoothly. I am very lucky to say that the management with this company and restaurant are fabulous, it feels more like a family then a work place. The most enjoyable part of my job is being able to see happy people enjoying the services I provide, and seeing them come back time and time again. I hardest part about my job is being overwhelmed by the sheer number of demands and requests, even though I do everything in my power to ensure those needs are met. Working in the service industry for over five years has taught me that you cannot make everyone happy, but you must try you hardest to attempt too.
