Compensation plans were fair, but telecom industry is rife with chaos and change, and this was evident in my time at Terago. Management was very challenged when implementing long term plans, and new service offerings were notoriously late to first availability.

"Don't go there" Whoa!!!

It happens only at "TeraGo"

1) TeraGo office walls have become weak over time as management loves banging them … Just a friendly caution - don't put too much weight or hang around them :-)

2) Management provides best on the job "Swear and Curse" words training to employees… Guaranteed that you will become best in the business before they let you go

3) "HR Team" plays a role of lucky mascot wearing “ORANGE” dress at every company event, collecting "Phony" external HR awards, tagging along on exotic sales excursions, frightening people stepping out of elevators on Employee appreciation day, writing fabricated rave reviews on Glass Door and distributing "Tim Horton - $5 gift cards" to employees for writing good reviews on Glass Door & praising management in employee engagement surveys… Management may consider changing name from “Human” Resource to “Admin” Resource department

4) Fictitious sales pipeline shows exponential growth each month but "very talented and top notch” Sales team still miss sales targets by more than 50% each month. The Old blame game is prevalent between Sales & Marketing groups. Sales Managers are more interested in "Individual Sales Performance Rankings" than selling. Month-end sales closing is very popular time for enjoying Ice-creams and having fun, especially when targets are out of reach.

5) Management is an expert in art of “mismanaging” the business and very focused on their bonus and compensation payouts than business growth. They regularly displays art of making up stories, hiding the core areas and beating around the bush during company’s
  plus... quarter-end meetings. Acquisitions are “must have” as business growth eludes them.

Spare your time and efforts for bigger and better companies ...don't waste your time here

Terrible company to work for. Management is artificial and is desperate to hold things together with no real experience. There is no growth opportunities. It's a toxic environment but HR tries really hard to disguise it. The CEO is a loose cannon ball. Snaps easily if things don't go his way. Lots of lay offs to cut costs. No pay increases. Don't bother applying here. Move on, you will have better chances of growth elsewhere.

I have a Bachelor’s degree (4 years) in Electronics and Communication Engineering and a great understanding of Broadband and internet Network’s like Optical Infrastructure and DWDM, routing protocols, web hosting, E-mail, DNS, MPLS Connectivity, Point to Point Leased Lines, Internet Leased Lines, IPTV, FTTH, VVoIP, WiMax. I was employed in Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) India's oldest and largest communication service provider (CSP) of fixed telephony and fourth largest mobile telephony and is also a provider of broadband services has having owns the biggest OFC network in India. Also the DWDM network is one of the biggest in the world. I worked as a Network Engineer for Five years, with one of the best engineering teams around.
