Bonne compagnie où travailler en général. Les payes sont bonnes, les différents avantages sont de qualité, régime d'achat d'actions de l'entreprise en plus!Maiiisssss malheureusement, haute gestion qui a eut raison de la santé mentale de moi ainsi que de d'autres collègues. Le micromanaging était insoutenable. On se sentait géré comme des enfants et non comme des managers. Très triste..

Okay company but not the best

Making sales, completing orders, making calls to customers, trouble shoot issues. Overall provide good customer service and upsell the products.Can be stressful at times

Do not work there

Most toxic, abusing company to work for with unreachable matrix and management that is always watching over your shoulder. No life balance and very little room to grow.

An amazing company to work for

Telus is a really great company to work for. As a sales representative you earn commission based on each sale that you make and any add on that you include. The company does provide great benefits including health benefits, TFSA, RRSP and stock options. I worked inside of a Koodo/Telus Kiosk and corporate stores inside Erin Mills Town Centre Mall in Mississauga On. The hours were very consistent with the mall hours. You get amazing recognitions for performance.

Pire compagnie.

Experience de centre d’appel classique. J’ai passé presque 10 ans au service a la clientèle de Telus. Les avantages et les salaires y etaient motivant. À partir de 2016, la culture d’entreprise A complètement changé. L’equipe de direction demandait l’impossible. Les augmentations salariales et les horaires étaient mauvaises et la communication y était pratiquement prohibée. J’ai quitté en 2020. La compagnie a licencié la plupart des employés syndiqués en 2023 suite a une réorganisation qui vise à faire de l’impartition vers l’international. Si vous visez une carrière. ÉVITEZ CETTE COMPAGNIE!

Fun workplace

Good team. Friendly people. Large corporation with lots of room for growth. Can get a bit lost in the large corporate world and hard to distinguish yourself from the crowd.

Decent first job, learned customer service skills and how to deal with the public. Supportive coworkers but was stressful at times with the pressure of earning commission

Good place to work with great benefits and plenty of room for growth. Good team environment with a lot of continued educating opportunities. I would recommend.

Good work-life balance and culture

Pay isn't the best but you more than make up for it with the work-life balance and good people you work with. Perks used to be better but still nice to get a deal on stuff you'd be buying anyway.

Fun place to work; however management had a lot of in fighting. It seems like politics was at the center of every decision but I do not understand why

Good Workplace

I enjoyed my time there and I thought that it was an overall good work environment. My colleagues were friendly and helpful. Also, the hours were reasonable.

Uncertain job security

The pay is great for what we do however there is no job security. Positions being offshored is common. Schedules are based on rotation and can being evenings and weekends and holidays. We are also open on Christmas.

used to be a good job. now its a miserable existance

Management only cares about sales. Technical knowledge or ability doesn't even really factor into their minds. You will be pressured to sell to people who have already agreed to services, because you are there to install or repair for them. You will be pressured to nickel and dime customers for every little thing because they see customer service as a cost. Telus used to be a place where you could have a career. If management would leave you alone, the job would be tolerable but they are intent on making the experience as miserable as possible through meaningless stats and metrics that you are measured on. Internal systems are constantly broken. Stock shortages are the norm. I could go on. If Telus could replace me by outsourcing, they would have alredy done so.

Used to be a great place to work

Management only cares about your ability to sell. Technical ability isn’t even a top ten concern to them. You will be pressured to make sales to friends and family as well as each customer you visit. The rest of job itself isn’t all bad if you like to work with tools and are good with people but management will find a way to make that suck too.

Nice company to work

A typical day at work: starts with reviewing your scheduled jobs on your phone or computer. Typically 3-5 jobs a day depending on schedule (8 hour or 10 hour) and complexity of jobs. Visiting residential customers for new install. upgrade, and repair. Lots of interaction with clients. Some outside plant jobs such as running jumpers at cross connect or splicing fiber etc will be done before you proceed to inside jobs. Learned lots of new things and skills. Great people, team work, workplace culture.

Ok but better jobs

Ok but micromanaging would be rampant . Not super easy to move upwards . Colleagues were grumpy and pay was lousy . Wish there were more emphasis on happiness .

Great job to have, especially as a part-time worker

Pretty good job with great benefits even as a part-timer. Pay is a low base but with commissions, you can make a lot of money there if you put in the work. Great employee benefits like insurance, monthly discount on your phone bills, occasional fun merch from the various tech companies and potential for bonuses when they run sales contests. As with any sales job, you’ll have quotas to meet and specific targets for different months. A lot of customer service to do, you should expect to have to deal with clients, their phones and learn to work independently. Schedules have been pretty accommodating and flexible but you have to give many hours availability. This also depends on your manager. Overall would recommend, great job especially with all the perks you can get.

Payroll issues, pressured to sell Although you are a repair tech…just don’t work here. Management does not help you. All they care about is the stats. The pressure put upon you is a lot.

Avoid if you seek emotional intelligence

10 years ago this was the company to work for, however todays TELUS is outsourcing to vendors, firing nationally and hiring internationally. To work in the Small Business organization is to constantly feel inadequate and overworked. Constant and I mean constant leadership changes with their new direction every time, pit stop to make a name for themselves on the backs of dedicated employees. Most of the current senior leaders lack emotional intelligence and care only for their next rung on the ladder. Avoid this company.
