Used to be great company but not always for diversity....

before the turf war between French and English where some of the lower and middle management people in Montreal, that were really uneducated and furiously against all sorts of diversity, were scared to loose their jobs against Toronto management. However, in that time they used to have outstanding benefits, great culture, great workplace, etc. Eventually these managers did lost their power and were replaced by whomever managers that were able to conduct the vision of upper management. Which was all about the greatest benefits for the shareholders. Nowadays it is open to diversity and promoting it, but organisation culture and benefits aren't the greatest compared to the market.Job used to be great, good quality training, very standardised, very good usage of good practises, not avant-gardiste or best practices, but it can't be compared to anywhere else I've worked such they are great.

Une des pires expériences en plus de 20 ans de carrière. Environnement très stressant, qui n'est axé que sur les chiffres, en oubliant complétement la dimension humaine. Salaire un peu plus élevé que la concurrence mais qui ne vaut vraiment pas la peine par rapport au stress subi et à la façon dont les employés sont traités.

Overall a fairly positive experience. Many extras to get involved in (women in leadership, people with disabilities committee, etc). It's a very respectful, process-driven environment, but sometimes those rules get in the way of getting any work done. Very flexible workspace and schedule. PT work from home policy was mandatory when I was there. Pay is so-so, ceiling seems pretty low.

I enjoyed working with my team, they are very collaborative, intelligent and fun. People working at TDI are really happy, productive and work with the company for a really long time. Competitive salaries, Flex days, vacations, work from home, and many social activities are part of the benefits. The hardest part for me was the office in Montreal was francophone, as an English speaker had a really hard time blending in.
