Relaxed Work environment. Pay seems reasonable given that they are close to being a monopoly. You may not want to work here if you generally do not like to talk over the phone. There's element of call centre-type-of duties in each role.
Deceitful and manipulative managers, directors, and HR. Management makes promises and doesn’t deliver. They trick people into telling them things by saying in front of the whole company that they welcome feedback if there are issues that need to be addressed. Then there’s backlash when you constructively share and genuinely try to help. This is just the beginning.

Very unorganized and unprofessional culture. No one knows about them, never try to promote themselves to the people they are supposed to protect. People have no idea about professionalism. No systems or processes in place. Not recommended.

Tarion is a great place to work at, the work/life balance is definitely there. You may have a department meeting catered once every couple of months which is nice. Management is great there for most departments, you can speak to a Manager or Director openly and receive constructive feedback on your work. Advancement is very rare, plenty of lateral moves are available however management is filled with "lifers" which are those that have been in the company for 10+ years.
Tarion provided opportunities for me to grow in my career, try new things and contribute at strategic levels of the organization. Their commitment to customers provided many instances where I was able to work collaboratively with customers and key industry stakeholders.

Tarion was the best place to work. Its well balance work and life and management alwasys redgonised hard working individuals.
I was with Tarion Warranty corporation for last 20 years as an accountant. I learned PeopleSoft from Tarion. Management was very supportive for employee initiatives. Co-workers are very supportive and during busy time they work as a team. I really enjoyed during budget and forecast time working with senior management. Its a fun place to work.
I did work long hours during budget and year-end.
On a typical day, I start by checking my e-mail and voice messages and replying to anything urgent immediately. I then prioritize my work, reply to incoming inquires received via e-mail and /or chat in order of importance.I also check incoming faxes and electronically batch and scan any warranty forms received. Documents intended for other departments are forwarded to the appropriate team member. I check the company's online portal for documents uploaded incorrectly. I check the electronic files in Content Manager and update them regularly. I answer incoming French calls forwarded to me by the Call Centre. I occasionally have meetings or training sessions during the day. I work closely with my co-workers and supervisor to resolve any pending issues. I sometimes cover reception at the front desk or assist with other office duties as needed.
Good pay and benefits. Good communication among co-workers and with management.
