There are always pros and cons in every work place. This includes Tapestry At Wesbrook Village. But This the best place work I have so far. The management is very supportive, salary is good and we are also unionized. I love working with my friends here too.

I loved this company for so long when I worked here... but that did not last long. The management will treat you poorly if you ever bring up any issues and every now and then head office will come down to sweet talk. Turnover is high because they do not respect work-life balance and there was constant overtime. Compensation was not worth the headache; no tips. Save yourself the time and apply literally anywhere else. I do love senior care and will continue to work with seniors, but at another company.

Management is really bad

Really felt that management had favorites and that white privilege was highly felt. If you are a person of color I wouldn't recommend working for this place. People who don't do the job properly are not reprimanded. Management are very aggressive and unkind even to senior residents. Turnover was so high because no tips or any appreciation was given to any of the servers. Even the turnover of the kitchen staff was high we had a new chef every 3 months or so, a new manager every 4 to 5 months. Don't do it save your self! I'm so glad I left.

Rewarding and meaningful job

I loved working at tapestry at Arbutus walk. There was a lack of communication between management/kitchen staff/ servers but overall I really liked it. I truly enjoy working with seniors, I felt that they were just like my grandparents with all their amazing stories and experiences. I miss them a lot

Residence and staff are amazing, management not so much.

The residence at Tapestry are great, although some can be difficult. The staff are friendly, and everyone will spend time with each other outside of work. There is a lot of high quality work expected of you for little pay. Management creates a stressful and negative work environment.

They're no chances at this place for you to do anything right , you get yelled at at all times no matter how hard you try your best to do your job. You aren't given a chance to explain and there is no reasoning with the management

A great experience in the restaurant part, applied my knowledge in the area of management and made me a great respect for everyone there. Organization, language, objective among several other aspects. Lots of positive people and always help each other. Recommended.
