This is a good job to be at, there is some room to move up in the company. The job is physically demanding but it’s not hard to get used too. Doing the job isn’t hard because it’s repetitive and very easy to learn. The management is good and takes concern or suggestions seriously, ensures we perform the tasks as efficiently as possible. The management doesn’t always tell us what we’re doing throughout the day for the overall plan but does make working the job more enjoyable and less stressful. The work atmosphere is great to work in, the people are very nice and fun to be around. Overall it’s a fun place to work In and a great starting job.
Points positifs
BBQs in the summer, the hours are nice, decent pay
Points négatifs
Physically demanding, in the summer time the pig barn smells

No concern about health and safety , should be investigated before something happens., very dangerous conditions. Management knows about safety infractions but nothing gets done. I can see one day something terrible is going to happen and I hope people are held accountable for putting worker at risk.

Alright place to work if you are part of the yard crew, good hours, not too sure about benefits, home every night. Can be fast paced at times, but most part fairly easy going.

Do you like being home? Do you like knowing what days you work and what days you will have off? Are you human? If you answered 'Yes' to any of these...RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN! This is seriously one of the WORST companies to work for, ESPECIALLY as a DRIVER. You'll never have a reliable schedule or know what days you will work or have off, much less know how long you will work, or where you will be driving to. Everything is a surprise - and they expect you to be available 24/7, with zero notice. The job itself will physically destroy you. Each truck holds between 5-13 tons (yes, TONS) of BBQ tanks, and they expect you to MANUALLY unload each one, using nothing but your own hands, in all weather conditions. Expect to have major back, joint, and muscle problems. Whatever logistics tells you, if they tell you anything, is either wrong or will change. Always expect the opposite of what you are told. Did they say you can take a day off? Be prepared for them to change their minds at the last minute. Did they tell you that you won't have to work weekends? Be prepared to work weekends. There are no 'Yes' and 'No' answers at this company. Everything is a 'Maybe'. There is nothing good about working here.

The job posting lies. You will be paid nigh minimum wage and you will most likely stay there. They advertise benefits after six months; you will not be here six months as the shop shuts down in September and only certain positions stay on. I can't imagine why you'd want to work here in the -40 winters, anyway. You'll be breaking your back with 40+ pound bottles of propane — don't forget that you must take one in each hand! — 10 hours a day. Apparently, 10 hours a day is "optional", but they conveniently forgot to tell their staff that until just this month. Still hoping to "enjoy summer" like the ad says with those perfect summer hours? Lol, you're gonna be here six days a week and when you do go home, you'll be too tired, sunburnt, and sore to even think about anything other than sleep. Your "cell leaders" are either mouthy teens or adults who act like teens, and they just finished a Jimi Hendrix experience or popping pills in their car on break. Stand still for a second and they're all over you like Amy Schumer on a glazed ham, but they'll spend the next 20 - 30 minutes standing around talking about video games with the forklift operator. Oh, and the longest any cell leader I met had been working for the company was just two months. Just about all their staff had quit in June, so the then-new guys were basically just given the new title. Also, it's not really clear what the chain of command is. People with the yellow vests (cell leaders) constantly give conflicting orders, but as far as I can tell, none of them actually outrank each other. Cell-leaders get to park - plus...
Points positifs
There are no pros to be found here; the staff are all newbies.
Points négatifs
There are, however, many cons to be found

It is completely ridiculous, the "cell leaders" all they do is give orders and stand around and talk while the new people do all the work. They say team work is key but that is not the case here. It's kind of a complete joke the way they run the place. One will give orders then another will come and not like how it's done so they make us redo it. To many people giving orders

Nothing

Management is racist expects miracles to happen on a daily basis. 14 hour days that sometimes extend to 15 hours which is illegal and could lose drivers license for it considering you are transporting dangerous goods. Should have a helper for such a low wage too much labour is involved. Considering it’s dangerous goods and drivers are expected to throw around full propane tanks all day it should pay closer to 25-30 /hr Unless you are desperate for some summer work or want an intense paid workout every day without rest to your muscles I would steer clear.

They do not care about you or your safety, all they care about is numbers and their own butts. They either A. Make you work with broken trucks and equipment that can cause severe accidents or B. Send you bottles to fill with huge holes that burn your skin and tell you to deal with it.

This job will break your body for next to minimum wage. You will be lifting 40 pound tanks in each hand at the same time, and lifting them above waist height. You will produce 2000 tanks typically in a day, and usually there is just one person doing the lifting. When you are not doing the physical labour on the dock you will be sorting through propane tanks, and you won't be provided with a mask when ripping off rusty ancient labels. The paint chips become airborne, and could become a health issue if you inhale them. Forklift drivers typically tip over four stacks of tanks a day on site, and they usually tip them close to employees which is dangerous. Be careful this place might injure you.
Points positifs
People are nice
Points négatifs
Unpaid lunches & ergonomically incorrect labour.

Terrible place to work the company does not care about you or your health they do not fix machines properly and the expect to you to reach very unrealistic goals they expect you to give most of not all your weekends in the summer to the company and will not give u time off so you can kiss your summer goodbye the heads off the company have there heads so far up there butts I'm scared there going to turn themselves inside out there is zero safety and its very easy to get hurt I could go on and on but if you still think you could work here after the review this far nothing I say is going to stop you.
Points positifs
People lots of hours in summer (but they are mandatory)
Points négatifs
Head office sucks, not a safe place to work nothing works right

Seasonal work filling BBQ tanks. Entirely outdoors from about March to September, with some work all year round. Unloaded and loaded delivery trucks, and then sorted returned cylinders into those that could be washed/painted and refilled for sale and those that needed to re-certified.

very good place to work overall, you start at 6am, you get breaks through out the day, two 15s and one 30, youll either be sorting tanks, washing them, or filling them, they let you use headphones unless you are filling tanks, for obvious safety reasons

The job is physical but it is rewarding. If your able to lift 40lbs and give it your best you will succeed working here. Training provided was on spot with the industry standards. Its a real team environment which i enjoyed working in. If your looking to strive daily and exceed your goals this is a place to learn and grow. Management and supervisors were good to work with, fair and understanding. If i did not move away i would go back.
Points positifs

Considering the business profile is simple, your just providing the customers with propane. The challenges come when you learn about the company. Training could’ve been easier if management had integrity and held a professional attitude. If you’re brain dead, young, desperate or have no experience as a vendor, then sure, this place is for you. Trust me, this place shown it’s colours after two shifts, and it’s embarrassingly obvious it needs leadership. Stay away!
Points positifs
Valuable experience
Points négatifs
Poor management

You deliver 40 lbs propane cylinders to gas stations, 711s, Walmarts Etc. Count the stock with an invoice machine, swap the tanks, give receipt to customer, do your paperwork then off to next client. Roughly 10-25 stops a day (300 to 500 tanks a day). Job is very physically demanding, pay is alright. I left after 4 years cause I felt I was underpaid for what my output was. Management is pretty good, generally understanding supervisors. All I would say to prospective drivers is don’t work harder than necessary, they reward loyalty more
Points positifs
Decent Pay, home every weekend
Points négatifs
Physically demanding, hard on the body
