You are a number at best
unrealistic stats, ie 9 min calls for technical issues. 3rd written: fired. written up for things like not meeting 9 min limit, >3 sick days/year. Days off-impossible to get. You could be scheduled anytime during a 12 hour window each day, so your schedule could change every day by 3 1/2 hours. Only warning is as of 5 PM the day before, and you have to check yourself, To see if there have been any changes. Extreme hour reduction in January February and March.

Horrible Experience
I worked for Sykes for just short of 6 months. It was an easy hire process and interview and I was hired with many people at once. Two weeks of training did not prepare me for the storm of angry customers and lack of knowledge from staff and management. The lack of communication was at a peak and there was no sense of direction or incentive. I took phone calls for Chatr and did billing and tech help. On two incidents I was on the phone with customers for upwards of 2 hours and had to use the washroom. Both were emergency situations and upon putting a customer on hold to do so, I was told by multiple people in management to "hold it in". Both HR and the senior manager had no solution or help for this, taking it as a joke, and made my experience working here extremely uncomfortable and bad to the point where I had to resign. I was micromanaged and not given a chance to be heard or have any impact on the well being of any current and future employees who may incur the same situation as me. It was a good opportunity to work and have a job, but really had an adverse affect on my mental health and drove me to carry negative feelings outside of work. Anybody applying should be aware that this company has many things to work on in terms of communication, management, an basic humans rights (such as using the washroom). Horrible experience.

Garbage
This company did not care for its employees, only the bottom line! I asked for help several times as I have a disabled child and they couldn't have cared less!

One of the worst places
The job itself isn't the problem you know the saying "no one quits jobs they quit bosses" Well that was the case here. In my experience as well as a few others who started work around the same time as me, the management team was unsupportive, rude and honestly a little power hungry.
