The scheduling was often chaotic and unreliable. They didn't offer the supports needed to thrive in such an environment as working in a group home. They weren't understanding of a school/work life balance.

Horrible service, staff, and kids. It is a unpleasant place to work, or live in a home under. They don’t listen to the kids needs or help them reach their goals. Over all I don’t recommend this environment at all.

Super great environment to work in. They love the people they support and truly want the best for them. I have felt incredibly welcomed into the group within a short period of time. It’s a young agency but are continually growing, definitely recommend applying here.

I loved my time working at supports through dreaming rainbow. It is really hard work but if you put the time and effort in when working frontline management takes notice and you will have lots of opportunity to grow and advance.

They don’t communicate, they will pay you a lower rate, for any hours you work over 40 hours, or what your contract is. They don’t pay you for holidays. They don’t give you any notice of shift changes, always short staffed, you can never get hold of anyone at the office!
Wage is quite poor in comparison to other companies

Wages quite poor in comparison to other companies, management is unorganized none ever seems to know what’s happening. Way to many people in main office but still none is able to provide supports to front line staff

I absolutely loved working for STDR. The hours are a lot, so that needs to be taken into consideration, however if you ask for less hours they generally will cut your hours down. The management are great, and are there for you constantly.

Work hours were extremely poor and unmanageable in maintaining a good life routine. Too many individuals; not enough staff (most who were poorly trained) No benefits. Very little opportunity for advancement.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us. Benefits are actually provided after 6 months being with us. Training is provided within 3 months. We are a growing agency, plenty of opportunity for advancement.
