Work life balance can be a challenge at Sun Life primarily due to the focus on innovative change while also focusing on expense management. In order to maintain a good work life balance while working at Sun Life, it will be important to manage expectations and deliver results by tapping into the matrix organization.

I got the best opportunity with Sun Life. They have all the tools for success, just learn to capitalize on it. You are your own boss, you set a goal and you make it.
Sun Life has a good culture. It is currently going through significant transformation that has caused some discomfort and a feeling of a lack of job security. That said, over the next several years it will become very well positioned for great success, and riding through temporary hardship will be beneficial to all.
Do not work here if you want some peace of mind. Management is selfish and works on favouritism. people are not given a scope to learn. People are insulted and looked down upon. No work life balance or work from home. Very stressful environment to work with.
Most of my day was customer service and reception. Throughout the week there were occasions to support our managers and advisors. Every day had new tasks to complete that generally had a specific end date.
Event planning stresses
Not a great place to work. Sun life financial is a small department that has no opportunities to move onwards or upwards to do anything else. Their main industry is insurance not finance. People eventually end up moving to a different company. Also, since they are so small there is a lot of outsourcing. So getting things done is difficult since you have to go thorough many middle men.
felt totally supported through training and all day to day activities. Lots of training and time to learn, kept busy through the day but not to the point of being overwhelmed. Very clear communication about expectations and standards. Excellent work-life balance.

Toxic culture, exceptionally uncollaborarive, rewards managing up and complete lack of teamwork. Unprofessional is the least that can be said about this organization.
Uncooperative environment. Encourages backstabbing.
very good overall, Salary is good opportunities to advance, very dynamic teams and cool people. great experience and very challenging. the building and the location is great
