Une vérification des antécédents criminels est-elle nécessaire chez Stock Transportation?
There is good and not so good about EVERY JOB. But the hourly rate for union driver is clos to 22$ hourly and increases about 1$ year. It is challenging but not unreasonable work and it augments my cpp and oas nicely giving me a much better income especially for seniors.
If you only do the minimum it is 2 plus 2 per day, but if you do a Charter in between or on the weekend or after hours( after your afternoon route) you will make good money. It is up to the individual. If you go through training and choose to drive a small bus, it pays less and no oportunity for Charters. But you could also sign up for Shop runs or lunch runs and you would be driving from about 7 am to 5pm.
If you are just interested in a few hours...you get paid for what you do, if you want to work, you get paid for what you do and you can advance forward from Route Driver to Dedicated Charter Driver or even Spare Driver if you really like pressure and money.
Quels conseils donneriez-vous à une personne ayant un entretien chez Stock Transportation?
Prepare to be your usual child-friendly self. Show a sincere attitude and realize it's an early start each day..having to inspect your bus top to bottom for possible defects, knowing that sweeping and mopping interior and exterior cleaning are a required part of the job. Getting along with kids and their parents is a very integral part of performing the school bus driver job too. Taking your bus in for maintenance at the company garage (extra hours paid for this) is also part of this job. So go into interview with your eyes and ears tuned ..do all homework in researching all reviews you can find and you should be good. Wear normal everyday casual clothing..avoid holy jeans. Lol . Have a neat & tidy look and be sincere..last part repeated as is critical. Good luck!
Love kids or at least be able to handle them
Have a great driving record
Prepare to be cautious of others drivers
IF you want an entry level job in Transportation its great but not as a career.
They provide free training and other benefits when you start but unless it's changed then get out after a year and go for TTC or a different company.
