I start my day bycompleted an order: labelling bottle, sealing, bagging and store the bottles in the appropiate temperature. then from mid-day I go to help in clean room by dispensing media, recording information about products into database and . Collaborate with the Quality Control Department to assure the purity of the products and end my day by clean glassware.
Worked in manufacturing in the clean room for a year and a half. My manager was awful. Condescending and rude, lied about overtime pay, had no experience in the clean room so was completely useless on top of the fact she didn't take suggestions from the employees actually performing manufacturing duties, and in general a real buzz kill. Easily the worst manager I've ever had.
Most of the people who work there are great. Salaries are not that high to do the status of the company being a desirable place for science-based work. Company culture is good and benefits are also fine.
