No, not at all. That is the number one question from new employees. Like anything, it takes practice, but more for the speed and fluidity than memorisation of the ingredients. If the training is implemented properly and time given on bar, the drinks become second nature. Every drink has a specific recipe, but each bar (hot, cold, Frappuccino, etc.) has a set amount of drink models. Hot bar (lattes, coffee, macchiatos, etc.) has around 6 drink models. In other words, employees only need to memorise these 6 models and every standard drink can be created from them. Easy!
