jadore mon travaille chez bureau en gros toute fois tres demandant compte tenu lage peux elever de la majoriter des employes et la solicitation constente demploye et client .toutefois sa bouge vraiment et jadore ce roulement on ne sennuie jamais . le bureau chef comprenne rarement ;la realite en magasin. ce qui rend toute demande ou changement venant de leur part jamais ideal.

The Staples that I was at had GREAT customers and most of the co-workers had their hearts in the right place. Management tended to over promise and under deliver on things like contests and troubleshooting things like cleaning the staff kitchen . They also promised cross training and leadership opportunities that usually got started but never followed through, They also hired outside the store for 90% of the supervisor and above positions and the few ( 2 or 3) that got promoted from within the store got so much much EXTRA stuff downloaded onto them that all of them either left or stepped down. They also had favorites and they NEVER appreciated people who went to the extra effort to make things run smoothly.. seriously.. a thank you once in a while would go a long way.

Its a great place to work if you go to school or don't have actual degrees. You can climb up the ladders farily quick if you work hard enough. Not the best pay or benefits. Had team lunches and pizzas.

Every day I was taught as much as possible regarding every station so I could gain as much experience as possible, as I had explained that was my main focus in the Job, Was to gain experience for future jobs there or in other places.
Everyone working there was great, they understood all and any issues or concerns I raised and did their best to accomadate me.

They'll make it seem great at first but then the true colors come out.
They evaluate their employees negatively. Its not what you do well but what you do wrong. They do everything to give you the smallest salary increase possible. I did a great job, so much that they promoted me within the normal time frame (6 months-told me I beat all records). But their promotion was tinted. Instead of working 9-5 it was between 7am-8pm with a minimal salary update (0.80$) and much harder work. Ive then decided it wasnt for me since I needed family oriented hours. It was a hassle to go back to my old position, they made me feel like Sh** for it. Then their attitude really changed and I wasnt doing anything right anymore. Got sick, went on a 1month leave (doctors order) came back, and they fired me. No employment insurance, no good feedbacks for interviews nothing. Have nothing I can do since CNESST is only available after 2 years of employment. They gave me no severance package, put it as it was my fault so no EI. My former colleagues still don't understand how they did this. They were shocked because I was one of the best agents.


Do not work there unless you really have to.

Stressful work environment and you receive very poor training. You are just expected to know things without being taught. Very poor and outdated inventory systems and Register functions. Management is petty and does nothing to help make things better. Not recommended.

The people are great but the management think they are better than the employees.
It is a call center so it has the usual issues of that atmosphere

I found myself having great conversations with the customers and building a rapport with many that came in. I also learned a lot about the tech world!

Management is generally caring and they truly coach you. As long as you implement suggestions and try them you can then collaborate with management to find what does work that's a good fit for your style.

I worked the afternoon shift which consisted of 2pm-12:00am but most times lasted till 2-3+ in the am and at the time I didn't have a car. So I would take public transit for an hour to get to work and I would recommend bringing your meals with you because the restaurant selection in the area at the time was very poor. My typical day was picking orders until complete then I would start loading trucks until complete. It was very repetitive work but easy unless you were put in the paper pit stacking the cased paper orders (very rough on the body and dirty) If you rely on mass transit you end up taking a cab home at the end of your day because transit ends nearby just before midnight. Warehouse is older and very dusty/dirty

This job has to be one of the worst I've ever had. Managers were not the kindest and would be agitated if one went to ask questions or get help. Always understaffed while I worked. The other people I met at staples were great.

The company sells Tech and office supplies products. The store is always so lively and the staff are very friendly. the atmosphere is very calm and good. The management is very good.

Staples offers one of the best training modules in the retail industry. The culture and discipline of consistency in having a manager on the sales floor is really outstanding as compared to other retail giants.

Great place to work if you don't have any aspirations to move up the ladder. I have been promised a raise and guaranteed 40 hours numerous times and have yet to see that come to fruition.

Overall, the staff are very friendly and will always help you out. I have no issues recommending this place to work, besides what i said above.

This company is in flux and ownership has changed a few times. Great place to get experience but long-term growth might be a bit difficult. Moral has suffered in some locations and the company focus is to make money and improve the numbers to make it look lucrative to potential buyers.

They have a fantastic training program, what i liked most was working from home and skype team meetings it is very busy with inbound calls i would work there again

Constantly understaffed, the more you know about working in the other departments the further they will mentally and physically stretch you. You will spend so much time helping in other departments you will fall behind on your own and be penalized. No matter how much you give to them it will never be enough. The GM has absolutely no empathy and will sometimes will tell you, you can't call in sick or even make you walk to London Drugs to buy yourself gravol.

Entreprise basée sur le service à la clientèle. J'ai eu du plaisir avec mes collègues. Tout est basé sur la communication. Il faut aimer former et coaché les associés. L'aspect le plus agréable est de rencontrer de nouvelles personnes et entre en contact direct avec les gens. L'aspect le plus difficile se résume à la recherche constante de personnel et donc un investissement de temps qui doit être planifié à tous les jours.
