Je n’ai jamais vraiment reçu de formation pour effectuer tout le travail que je devais accomplir, ce qui m’a amenée à démissionner après presqu’un an. Pas d’encadrement, d’aide ou de support.

Great retail environment. Wide variety of merchandise. Lots of electronics. Learned a lot about retail. Enjoyed the sales aspect of the job. Overall good experience.

Un compagnie qui ne paye pas bien ses employés vous améliorer avec le temps mais y a aucune augmentation salariale donc tous le monde part rapidement

The management is helpful, the team is welcoming and works together, working from home is the best experience I have had in my career. Although I do not see much possibility for advancement, I highly recommend working with Staples

When I was working at Staples I enjoyed working and serving with my clusters because I am a people person!! Good management and good and safe working company!!!

I am a supervisor, I was given a few days of training to learn my job. Then I was scheduled more as a cashier than a supervisor prior to the Covid-19 pandemic. I don't know if I just started at a bad time but I was promised the best training. To me, a few days just doesn't cut it. I'm still not done the modules in the training program. Also, I feel it's unfair to be scheduled as a cashier more often than I'm given supervisor shifts.

Staples Business Advantage has a very poor management. They are stuck to the old mentality of doing things like how it was operated back in 80's. They're not adaptive to the modern changes. Unfortunately, I was paired with a very insecure, uneducated, unstable Team Leader. She had no leadership skills, no time management skills, no respect for her subordinates. The only way she knew hot to get the job done her way was not by logical communication but producing fear through writeups. Very poor Company to work for. It's a call center and not a B2B workplace. There's no job security, Management and HR do nothing even if you complain. They only support locals and people who have been with them for several years. Most of the hires are locals and have been in the same position with the Company for like 10-15-20 years. There's no scope of advancement in this Company. You have to bring a Doc's note everytime you're sick while my Supervisor would take n number of holidays and would often show late but would be hypocritical when some subordinate got late. STAY AWAY!

What began as a great experience (entirely thanks to a great managerial team) devolved quickly with managerial changes that eventually saw our GM changed for a former manager of ours that cherry-picked who he liked and what work he did and who refused to help our very busy and often swamped Copy Center. It got to the point that on some weekends, our sole cashier came to help whenever she could and although I tried every time, I always ended up giving up on calling for help on the store-wide speakers because he was supposed to be my help but he never ever came. Later, I was nearly cheated out of bereavement leave by another manager and as a GM, he brushed away my formal complaint and sided with the manager, to whom I had given multiple chances to tell me the truth. That manager insisted that the time would be taken from my meager vacation time when the official HR website clearly stated that I was allowed 3 paid days of bereavement leave. In fact, the only reason I wasn't screwed over was thanks to one amazing and trustworthy manager who, at the time, managed our paychecks. Add to that the minimum wage salary, few opportunities and only managerial ones to be found, nearly impossible to get the status required to get benefits... While I was there, I saw the store become more and more understaffed and transfer to a managerial team led by yes-men who didn't care about the employees. What started as a great team eventually became a spinning door with great employees quitting en masse. Staples just became a really bad place to work that could no longer justify the horrible salary - plus...

The smile on a customer face when resolving/answering their complaints/questions makes the job most enjoyable and drives overall sales ratio which could lead to promotions lol

This job had great co workers and store level management but definitely did not get appreciation or acknowledgement from company itself. Still a positive experience. I was able to move into various positions when wanted/ needed.

The does not appreciate the talent and doesnot help for growth with in the company. If they hire new talent, they would pay more but not to a loyal company employee. Management not cooperative. Work culture is good, you will enjoy working with colleagues. Company does not offer great benefits compared to other similar retailers.

Bureau en gros offers different positions to suit your strengths. It has a nice break room and the floor stays clean. Depending on your position, your days will be full of customer interaction.

On any day, I will recommend this company to all. More than economic gains, they are very concerned about the well-being of their associates. There is deep respect for cultural differences as well

J'ai appris plusieurs talents que je ne pensais pas avoir, mais j'ai toujours eu le problème du fait que je déteste commencée des conversations. Alors quand il me demandait d'aller vers le client pour leur demander s'il avait besoin d'aide. Je ne le fesait pas je ne fesait qu'attendre qu'ils viennent vers moi.

Long commute. No advancements. Took long for pay raise because of constant contract renewals. But overall, management and co-workers were decent group of people.

Overall pretty decent, but there is basically nothing in the way of pay raises, even if you move up and get huge increases in work load or responsibilities. Pretty fast turnaround for junior staff.

I am an optimist person. Hard working, dependable, honest, helpful and trustful. My experience at staples was really unforgettable. We had a great management team with great experience. We did learn by lot of challenges such as meeting the daily target on certain products which were on promotions.
