Je n’ai jamais vraiment reçu de formation pour effectuer tout le travail que je devais accomplir, ce qui m’a amenée à démissionner après presqu’un an. Pas d’encadrement, d’aide ou de support.
Terminer tôt la fin de semaine
Servicing Customers, cleaning counters, putting stock away, printing sale signs. Great people to work with .Knew a few of the staff already. Courses on the computer on safety, promoting item, supporting different clubs or organization in the area.
Whether long shifts or short shifts, slow days or fast paced days, it's never boring in staples. Staff are fun to be around, and management is great.
Never a dull moment
employees are actively tasked to try and up-sell on add-on's for customers that they may not necessarily need. even on smaller products that dont need it, or that would be cheaper to replace outright instead of buying the warranty.

The does not appreciate the talent and doesnot help for growth with in the company. If they hire new talent, they would pay more but not to a loyal company employee. Management not cooperative. Work culture is good, you will enjoy working with colleagues. Company does not offer great benefits compared to other similar retailers.
Just as the title says, if your manager is great: you will have an amazing job and vice-versa. Hope that you don't have to face the situation like coronavirus and stuff or you will soon see the bad side of the upper management, who kinda suck at communication with employees and benefits as well. Typical day: 1-You enter the sales floor. 2- It is super slow --> you do all extra tasks like cleaning the isles and stuff. It gets busy --> Now you have to handle 2 customers at once (not stressful though). 3- Some associates can be toxic, but it is 1/10 and hence no issues. 4- Most enjoyable part: When you upsell (relevant products) and all goes well. 5- Management: My General manager is great, Upper management: Cant' say much good about those guys (Neutral to bad).
Come in on time for work, Relax a bit when working on client computers to fix or setup their hardware. Facing with customers and answering their needs.
Very Flexible in work schedule and vacation time.
Staples is a great company to work for. The managers are very supportive and they genuinely want you to excel. I am enjoying every moment working with staples. The only drawback about the company is the low wage paid to associate.
Higher management was super power hungry, and selfish. I do not recommend working here as it will cause you significant stress. They expect you to do things that are not your job whatsoever, and you have no choice but to do it if you want to keep your job. Find another place it’s not worth your time
You are going to have to deal with clients who walk into the store angry. The people who you work with are really nice and easy to get along with. If you are used to fast-paced and stressful environments, then this job could be good for you (especially in the Copy and Print Center)
Overall pretty decent, but there is basically nothing in the way of pay raises, even if you move up and get huge increases in work load or responsibilities. Pretty fast turnaround for junior staff.
Chill guidlines. Get to work with tech. Not particularly difficult
No pay raises, no way to move up quickly
