Avis d'employé sur Bureau en gros
Your experience will majorly depend on your Managers
Just as the title says, if your manager is great: you will have an amazing job and vice-versa. Hope that you don't have to face the situation like coronavirus and stuff or you will soon see the bad side of the upper management, who kinda suck at communication with employees and benefits as well. Typical day: 1-You enter the sales floor. 2- It is super slow --> you do all extra tasks like cleaning the isles and stuff. It gets busy --> Now you have to handle 2 customers at once (not stressful though). 3- Some associates can be toxic, but it is 1/10 and hence no issues. 4- Most enjoyable part: When you upsell (relevant products) and all goes well. 5- Management: My General manager is great, Upper management: Cant' say much good about those guys (Neutral to bad).

STAPLES in Saskatoon was a good place to work. The managers were pretty reasonable and I got along well with my coworkers. Sometimes it could be stressful, especially when dealing with impatient or irascible customers, or during BTS (Back to School) season. Also the wages weren't great--they started me at just about minimum wage from what I remember. But as I was only working part-time while going to school that was fine for me.
Good coworkers, managers, generally fun work
Weird hours, pay wasn't great
Not worth it, support is not here. Will pretend to be there and when it matters they don’t help. Extremely high demands to meet sale goals and zero reward for doing it not even a real pat on the back
Good work life absolutely nothing else
You need to do everything and no one cares or thanks you for going way above and beyond
The job was pretty simple to be honest. As long as you have a decent knowledge about technology and a good sales attitude you will get decent numbers. The down side is there is no commission which results in no real reason to sell
