Attendance Counsellor in Toronto, ON
Dedicated and commited position
Springboard has been a great opportunity for me to start my career. Great way to be hands on in the community, providing opportunity to give back and help others.
Technical developer in 2 carlton st, on
A fast pace and stressful place to work at. Not a whole lot of care or consideration for workers from management. There are some events for "team building" but it's just for show and a loophole to evade tax and spend extra remaining funds to get more funding for next year. They buy extra top of the line equipment to also spend their budget and gain more funding next year.
Poor pay, and poor management, especially as of recent.
For a non profit organization that is in the front line for helping troubled youth and the community, they take poor care of their own team. It's almost hypocritical.
Residential counsellor in Toronto, ON
No support from management at all. Never any feedback or debrief. It would be an amazing place to work if they switched the managers in the youth justice sector.

Okay pay, terrible management
Springboard are on the higher end for salary for non-profit. But the management team is terrible. There is an us versus them mentality. Most jobs are part-time or temporary as well, so you do not have access to benefits or the same protections from the union.
