Fast-paced, somewhat unprofessional
I thoroughly enjoyed my job description, but couldn’t get over management. During the duration of my job there, I always felt like the “dumb one” that would get thrown into the situations that the managers wouldn’t dare put their favourite employees in (favouritism was a MASSIVE issue. Don’t expect to be the favour of by doing well. It’s unpredictable). They were only nice to me when they needed me to do something, although I was apparently one of the quickest fulfillment associates they’ve ever had. Managers are unprofessional and secretive, somewhat abrasive and expected the world from you even though there’s no way that they would return it. Corporate consistently had changing expectations which would throw all of us for a loop almost daily. On top of this, either I’d be scheduled almost every day of the week, or I’d get scheduled for one 4 hour shift over a two week span. I met some very great people there and I loved working in fulfillment, but I’d never go back to this company. Managers need to be more heavily interviewed and screened before being hired.Plus, they were very shady about COVID-19 outbreaks and frequently skipped over pandemic safety requirements such as monitoring capacity.

The store managers at the Richmond centre sport check are horrible. They only care about themselves and are not a good example when it comes to being a role model for your employees. They tell you one thing but end up doing the opposite and if u follow them they will threaten to write you up. Working there for the 6 months that I did was a big regret and If I have the opportunity to work at another sport check it won’t be Richmond centre
Long hours, management is very poor and lacks a lot
The management and other employees were great to work with and made the job enjoyable. I would talk to customers and clean/ stock the store when not with customers. It could be stressful when busy as with any customer service job but we had great teamwork to relieve the stress.
