Yes we do require credit, criminal and identity checks. Our employees work with very high value goods and for insurance purposes we require employees to meet standards. Please note that each background check is reviewed individually and there are specific cases where concessions are made based on the history. Most candidate worry they don't have enough credit or their credit isn't good enough, this credit check isn't the same as a bank.

Our interview process includes a phone conversation, first round interview in person, and a final interview in person. Furthermore, we require a background check (usually after phone screen or first round interview). Lastly, we complete references.
No solid reason on leaving, Spence is a great place to work especially if you are interested in the Diamond Industry. Only reason I can think of would be because of a job opportunity based in a field of interest.
