Quels conseils donneriez-vous à la Direction de Southmedic pour améliorer l'entreprise?
Stop begging your employees for good reviews.
Try getting a good review without holding a company meeting and whining about how everyones talking bad about southmedic.
Maybe try fix the underlying problems instead of Crying and stomping your feet and asking the your poor employees to try hide the truth
Upper level management need to be present on the shop floor and gain an understanding of what actually is taking place in production.
Practices like supervisors standing behind line associates with their arm folded in front of their chests trying to intimidate associates to go faster. Or practices like supervisors purposely putting people in jobs that are ergonomically awkward for them.
Knowing that your supervisor. And or any management. Even the engineers. Know little to nothing about what they speak of.
And then they get upset Becuase you know better then they do.
Makes it hard to respect anyone in upper management
Not how a company should work
From what I've read.... This is a great place to work and grow. So ... My question is.... Why are these people not growing with the company and still working there?
Why are they former employee's?
SMI is not a great place to work or grow. It takes up to a year to become a full time associate. Once you have achieved full time status your pay as a shop floor associate is little better than minimum wage and even if you grow within the company the wages are not industry standard. If you want to live in poverty SMI should be your employer of choice.
The benefits were good, however now that it's a larger business the company should pay a portion of the premiums. $80 per pay is steep. With businesses like Honda and parts suppliers benefits were not out of the employees pocket.
Fire the only people that seems to have job security. Upper management. And hire people with a head on there shoulders. They’re trying to build a sky scraper on a dirt foundation
They just took away everyones paid lunch. Told everyone theyre getting a dollar raise so they can be competitive. And then anyone who's not brand new to the company only got about a 10 cent raise.
Anyone who doesnt like it knows where the door is. Is the attitude apparently
Therefore upsetting most of the workers who knows what theyre doing in the factory.
Unless you are brand new. Then you might have enjoyed them lying to everyone else around you.
Now 8.5 hours a day. And still spiralling downwards
Full time to start, 10 days vacation, however 4 days are held to use for the company shut down in july....so starting january 1, your 10 days becomes 6
