fun Place
I spent 7 years as Datacenter Engineer and acting team lead , very nice place to work , good insurance and pension.

Very well organized and good manager and team lead.

Good people, table tennis but bad management
The amount of changes in Management is ridiculous. Mix of vision for where the company is going, it looks like Management is trying to move up at any cost. I asked for training and the result was a Linux Academy account which was to be shared due to licensing / user account constraints. The promotion I was offered during my time here was to do something I had already been doing. Bonuses and raises were cut during my time at this company due to bad financial decisions and goals that were set. Blood, sweat and tears into everything I do and was never recognized financially or given the freedom to work from home without any extra responsibilities. They have no faith in their employees and babysit them. We were expected to pick up all phone calls coming into the NOC and open tickets if needed, regardless of whether it was for a technology you supported. The people are what makes this place worth staying at.

Working in the KTSC
Stressful, non-rewarding, barely any training, no clear career path options, Softchoice is more concerned to sell sell sell than to actually take the time to look at the bigger picture of support.

Pay scales are all over the place since the company is not looking for quality engineers but just another head count before more CSAT issues arise.


Very poor management: lacking of vision and guidance (more concerned with putting out fires than with growth).


What was once a very fun and exciting work environment in KTSC, is now a "how worse can it get ?" type of place.


I really hope that they get their act together before people start loosing their jobs due to a lack of customer satisfaction +business loss.

Productiveand like challenges
I love going to work every morning as this where I most of my time if I am not home, Challenges and learning new technology is part of my diet . After a complex problem is resolved and that you can see the smile in the tone of the client , that makes my day.
