J’ai adoré travailler à la Tour Desjardins mais, au début après le retour de l’ouverture j’avais été engagé pour aide-générale et nous étions que deux le chef et moi. Je faisais les viennoiseries, quelques, sandwichs, les cafés, cuissons des viandes, des légumes, épluchés, pelés, couper et assaisonnées des aliments ensuite, on m’a proposé un poste de cuisinière et j’avais accepté leur offre et en mai, ils m’ont livencé sans remerciements et j’ai vraiment été déçu de la façon que ça c’est terminé et que je correspondait plus aux exigences de l’entreprise.

Giant company that values politics over people. Work you to the bone. Do not take a salary as they will take advantage. Hourly all the way, especially in BC.

Pay was ok. Benefits were terrible, compared to hourly staff. Management expects you to work in any roll they need, regardless of your experience and job title, therefore, no work-life balance. Training was practically inexistent. 0 encouragement or team building, only praise came from clients and guests but nothing from Sodexo itself. 0 job security, they can lay off anyone for no reason at all. Good luck.

Very low pay. Often short staffed due to employees quitting or being fired so the workload is always very heavy. One of the camp managers is very rude to Sodexo staff, especially to the managers. There is no staff appreciation. No bonuses. If you are Sodexo, you aren’t allowed to even leave the camp unless you have permission. They go through different Sodexo management every couple months.

No direction or help provided ever, under paid and over worked employees and supervisors, little to no assistance from upper management that is on site, communication is a -10, would only recommend this job as a stepping stone to anything better.
