A lot of group work and training. Multimillion dollar equipment. Excellent lunch options. Clean working environment. Friends and companionship are a must.
Working with multimillion dollar equipment.
Very flexible work environment, I am an arts student and they give me lots of opportunities to use those skills to make posters and handouts for them. Does involve a lot of talking to other students and doing some public speaking.
ideal for busy students to work around your schedule without falling behind
low hours, minimum wage
The material is often prepared in advance and the the staff and other professors are extremely supportive in their efforts to help both student and new staff succeed.
Marking lots of papers in a timely fashion

Day start with a line of student and faculty member asking for help; provide solution to them make me feel happy because I solve problem to someone. - All cultures are respected - The hardest part is when you do not have the answer for the problem, but there is always someone ready to help.
Expand your knowledge for fix laptop issues
Very hard to get a permanent job position
The management was supportive and encouraging during my tenure. As a Peer Tutor, you manage your own time and appointments so you can take on as much or as little as you want which was great since I was taking 6 courses alongside tutoring. The pay was alot lower than expected and the pay schedule was sometimes weird. They only pay minimum wage usually and limit your maximum hours to 10/week so you probably can't live off what you earn but it was nice for some extra pocket change.

I was lucky to be able to take advantage of a work study position involving my passion for photography. The job is allowing me to gain more knowledge about equipment which is helpful in the development of my photographic work.
Students were lovely and great class sizes but this is a very lonely place to teach with absolutely no guarantees for job advancement or job security. Although the odd person is helpful the administration and management have high expectations on each teacher yet provide very little guidance or assistance. Furthermore, the turn over rate is high for contract workers and they are made to feel like they are not valued, required or appreciated (only full timers seem to matter) yet these workers are still required to attend meetings and provide ideas and feedback. These seems counter productive and adds a lot of stress to the individual worker.
high level of anxiety due to lack of job security
