Trop sticker sur les resultats. Malgré les bon resultat on te pousse toujours sur les resultat plus que sur la qualiter dappel. Augmente les taches dun employer sans augmentation de salaire. Tu fais le travaille de tous les departement en meme temps. Mais tu est payer pour la job de une departement. Change les procedures du jour au lendemain sans bien formé les gens

Shaw could be one of the best workplaces that you could be in if you've been assigned to a great leader. Majority of my friends and colleagues that has been blessed with a great leader there has improving careers or already has a very good career. There are a lot of bad leaders out there. Unfortunately, the only thing that the upper management will do is just have them attend a leadership training which is not effective because after that they will be back to their usual self and also because they are not being monitored if they have improved or not. Other than that,Shaw has good benefits and takes care most of their employees needs. Compensation is okay but not the best there is. So, if you're expecting a top of the line industry best compensation and benefits better look somewhere else. Hope that helps.

Great culture at Shaw. Days can be long but rewarding. Often require to work more especially during quarter end. Great guys to work with, everyone always willing to help out.

Made great friends here and good money. If you work sales the benefits are very good and schedule are decent. It doesnt really feel like a call center.

Working at Shaw was a good place to work and they were a good employer for the time I was working there.The company always gave us an opportunity to learn through training that was provided to improve our skills.

You are required to show up 15-30 minutes early so you can be pre-signed into the computer you will be working on for the day.

From there, you are micromanaged every second of the day.


The schedule you get compared to anyone else is based upon how many calls you take, as well as how many of those calls end up having the customer call back with a small portion of tenure. This makes the schedule change more frequently than some peoples underwear and hard to plan ahead with.


You are expected to actively show improvement in your KPI's and make progress towards other positions in the company, but are expected you use your own time to do most of the career development.


The company revolves around the relationships between their employees so when it comes to applying to other positions, you are better off making friends with everyone and applying rather than going above and beyond in your work.


Management deals with employee issues as though we were back in high school - I was suspended for 2 days for using a bad word in a private conversation 1.5 weeks after it happened that stopped me from being promoted to another department and then again 3 weeks later for a yet another single sarcastic sentence after being insulted myself.

As a leader, I found my day was back to back meetings the entire day, managing your time aggressively became an important skill and prioritizing the right activities and managing expectations accordingly was an absolute requirement.

The work was very interesting and the industry is in a state of change that creates a challenging atmosphere, although that translated at times to added stress and a difficult pace.


Leaders are a strong point with very reasonable but driven individuals in general. A supportive atmosphere that encourages growth.


Workplace culture is fantastic with strong values and culture and a great workforce. the people and the teams are the best part of my whole experience.


The hardest part was implementing change. Support and buy in where always present, but actually manifesting the change effectively was constantly challenging.

Company is very profit oriented with very competitive management who are largely motivated by production bonuses and profit margins. There is a strong lack of concern for others value, lifestyles or health concerns in the workplace culture.I have been unable to contact anyone at this company to redeem my shares option over the years and have never received any call back information from the HR department regarding this issue either. I have just given up and left the shares there to continue growing until I have the energy to deal with them again.
I learned alot about sales and upselling. The hardest part of the position was the chaotic management style which I think effects retention.

The best part of the position was working with some of the others.

In my experience, I had great teams and supervisors/managers. Despite a practically revolving door of higher ups my direct leaders were great. The Shaw Tower is in a great location, close to public transit and has great views. Of course, it is a call centre so despite the 8.5hour shift (and that was maddening, why switch to 8.5hrs with two useless 15min breaks) you will end up working late, and there's always weekend shifts.

As part of Shaw to run "leaner" there is expectation for employees to take on more than was asked previously. The company is navigating their way to be more efficient but can struggle at times due to the previous culture. Until that changes there will a struggle for them to move to the next level. Otherwise I enjoyed my time there and enjoyed my time with my former coworkers. The only other thing that I think that needs to be corrected is how compensation is handled. There were many times when newer employees were given higher salaries than those that were there longer when performing the same tasks.

People at Shaw value you as a person. It is a great place to work and I would apply again in a heartbeat. Shaw is an awesome company to work for. I advanced several times in my 7 years at Shaw. I made many friends and found helping clients or coworkers to be very rewarding work. I would recommend this position / company to anyone who enjoys talking to people and resolving client concerns.

Managers will team up with each other to punish employees even if the facts are wrong. Zero accountability and Zero integrity. My experience here has told me to screw them first before they screw you.

Seriously loved working with Shaw. When I started there 20 years ago you feared for your job security, they had a cowboy management style, but they eventually evolved into a place that truly valued their employees.
