Great place to work.. for a short time. My supervisor agrees that Shaw does very little to encourage their employees to stick around and as a result has a very high turn over rate. It's a great job if you're an immigrant to Canada, and not trying to pull the race card or anything either but you'd be getting stiffed working here. For all the caucasians and many in the same boat.. you'll hit you pay ceiling, they'll cut bonuses and do anything to make you leave cause you obviously cost them too much as an employee.
Much of the management simply hasn't grown from a man-child like attitude. They're super unappreciative with their staff and metrics are much more important than customer service, and it shows.

|I enjoyed working at Shaw. Working in the business sales team I had the chance to collaborate with colleagues to be strategic in obtaining large business contracts to provide phone and internet services as well as hardware for the business to run smoothly. The job was challenging at times when we had to do build projects but overall it was very rewarding.
